Baby #2, DH guilt and teens

SMto3's picture

SS24 has another baby on the way. Not sure how they will get out of public housing now. I'm sure those boxing dreams are dead and done. I encourage DH to see them when he has free time and the last time he went, he said that he had to have a good talk with SS24 about their living conditions. Per DH, they live in a horrible mess, and SS24 is blaming it on his BM's father (who owns the apartment and lives with them all). I reminded DH that SS was always very dirty and lived in filth (see prior blogs). It was one of the many things I found difficult to live with about him.

Driving to hang out with friends

RockyRoads's picture

Just wondering how far you would drive a child (remember this child appreciates nothing SO does for him)  to hang out with "friends".  SS has ruined his relationship with his school friends and says all other kids in his grade are "weird". He was invited to one of the kids houses that play on his travel team.  They live around 40  mins away on back roads. SO hates to drive in the dark. This will be over 2 1/2 hours driving to hang out.  I am not saying a word . Maybe it will be a one and done but if this becomes an all summer thing it will drive me crazy.

Inspired by Juanita the chicken transitioning into Juan the rooster. Bringing you Therians.

By the way, thanks for that lol CLove.

I was tracking a Step subreddit. A kid posted on an abusive SM scorching her scalp with a hair drier as a young child and being sneekily abusive.

I commented advising the kid to tell her school in invoke the mandatory reporter process.  She declined and commented that her dad and family would not be supportive of any consequences for SM because she came as out...get this... a non binary therian.

FTF is a therian one may ask? I had to look it up.

SS and family problems

Hastings's picture

SS13 isn't close to my family. Several factors are involved:

1 The only other boy is 19. All the kids close to his age are girls. He goes to a different school. The girls are all close to each other, but he's sort of odd man out, due in part to his being a boy.

2 He hasn't spent a lot of time with them. They go to the beach together every summer, but we've only gone twice. We like to do other traveling and we don't always have the time off.

3 He's shy. My family are mostly introverts. DH and I are introverts.

Chicken Ch!t aka Home on the Range

Its been a full week since SD18 Princess Powersulk Do Nada  (PPDN) has been a "graduate". Even though technically visitation ends, she went through the weekend at her mothers place, and Tuesday she "decided" that if Husband "wanted her to" she would come on over. ermmmmok.

I enjoyed a peaceful weekend. So uneventful I dont quite recall what was done...

OT-Princess Popcorn the saga continues

PetSpoiler's picture

So I had my little fur princess spayed due to ovarian cysts.  She seems to be recovering from THAT at least.  When I took her for her post op checkup, the vet noticed a hard lump on the right side where she made the incision.  Her kidney was dilated.  Popcorn has hydronephrosis.  The vet can't rule out the possibility that she tied off Popcorn's ovarian blood vessel into her ureter but there is also a possibility that she has a stone blocking urine from going into her bladder.  She drained the fluid to give her relief.  According to bloodwork her kidney function is normal.  To complicate th

Total lack of control makes me crazy!

step-out's picture

I can't stand the complete lack of control I have on decisions re. SD and SS. DH is a total chicken-!!** to say No... when they want to visit they have control, he doesn't say that's not a good time to come... SD is such an adult- pouty needy thing, we wouldn't want to hurt her poor little feelings! I'm not sure what to do when I listen to DH on the phone being the guru of all the best advice! Ugh! Help!
