Seriously, my skids tried to tell me once that their gbm---grandmother....had a cancer curing machine. Ya, and it cures CANCER :jawdrop: . The BM fully believes in the regimen for health! :sick:

im not looking for sympathy or advice i just need to vent because im about to explode,,,,
This is a child support rant,,,,
I am a SM to 2 children,,,,who i adore very very much and get along with very well, my stepkids are not the issue but im about to walk away from everything because i just cant deal with it anymore,,,,,but then agaain its not my husband fault or his kids that thier mother is out of control,,,,,,
I'm not sure if anyone has been through this buuut I thought I would ask. DH has not gotten XW off the house loan yet as we have not been in a position too, but we are working on that. She is taking him to court for it next week which is exhausting, it has been about a year since their divorce finalized. What should we expect from court, and should we worry about getting booted out of our house? The court order is very vauge as they did not do it with a lawyer, so it basically says DH will get the house obtained at this address ----.
It is natural to emotionally distance oneself when in pain.
I did it to DH and he did it to me the last time we deployed and as a result, our marriage suffered.
This time, the children are older and know all about distance and detachment.
How on earth do I keep us "emotionally" connected? We will do the Skype thing and phone calls but at the end of the day, what happens when there is nothing to talk about and we have those awkward moments? Then what do I say?
Story: Man meets Woman. Man and woman think it will be "fun" to go test drive a Lamborghini. Man tells woman to make sure she puts her safety belt on. Woman tells man she always does and will, but does not. Man puts safety belt on, but the incorrect way to insure protection. Man and Woman get back from joy ride.
Woman: Well that was nice but I should let you know that I am taking test drives with other men too
Man: That's fine, I didn't want buy the Lamborghini anyways. So long!
Man leaves. Woman shows up at man's door 1 month later.
To give a little background:
BM played the "if you don't believe in MY (whackadoo) version of Christianity, you're damned to hell and emotionally damaging MY daughter!" card.
Feeling a little down today. But I can't seem to shake it. I know I shouldn't let what BM says bring me down, and normally I don't dwell on it, but maybe I'm just in a funk.
I could just use a little support from other SM's (being a future SM myself).
Apparently according to BM I am "terrible to" skids and they "hate" me and "cry because how unhappy they are" with me.
How do you deal?
SD8 came to me tonight, saying that her head was itchy. She scratched it and it looked like .. gunk that came off of her scalp. Normally, when SD is here, she takes a shower because she's proven to be able to wash her own hair. I asked her if she'd been washing it herself. She said, "no, Greg washes it for me." Greg is a her step-dad. This just doesn't seem right to me. I washed her hair in the sink, which she said has never happend before, so that leaves only one other place for him to wash her hair. In the bath. FH is going to ask BM about it. But seriously?
i've had it with the stress of the holidays already....dh, skids, work....if only there was a way to get away for a week by myself. my number one destination would be france....and all of the wine, cheese, chocolate, museums and cafes i could handle.
where would YOU go to get away?
after 10 years of this skid bullshit, we're almost to the finish line. the next few months will be the last of them. June 30, 2011 is my date for freedom.
