Did you guys see the disclaimer above? Take heed if you have a weak stomach.

We've had some "issues" with SD and the internet before....oh boy have we. She's been grounded from forums (for good reason) and even EMAIL lately (for good reason). So...school starts. We can't watch her all day. AND GUESS WHAT SHE DOES? (joins NEW FORUMS...4 of them, rejoins old ones, and then.....)

How do i let it go?

alwaysme's picture

I dont want to start a fight with hubby so i need advice on how to just let what happened today go... I will explain

I had to take the morning off work to drive skids to pony club 30mins away as they had to be there for a test of some sort, anyway when i get there the BM was there. Now to me as far as i am concerned if she was already going there (which i didnt know she was) then why could she not pick the kids up herself and take them clearly she didnt have to go to work like i did.

Emotional Support

I just need to vent. BM (Princess) calls this morning - several times - until SO finally calls her back. She doesn't generally call and by the time she'd called the third time we figured something was wrong (he was in the shower and I wasn't about to answer his cell and talk to her).

What was the crisis? What horrible tragedy had befallen her that required SO's attention RIGHT NOW?

Her DH was downsized out of a job. And somehow we're supposed to care about this?

Tit, Tat and the other

evilsm's picture

I am a little rusty at blogging, it's been a while but what the hell, lets just jump in with both feet. For those of you that don't know me; SM and BM (SD14, BD20, BS19)all living with us full time. SD14 does not visit or have much contact with BM (that is another whole long, long story for another time). DH and I have been married for 5 years and it has been the roller coaster from hell. I love my DH and he loves me very much, our issues have always been surrounding the kids. Soooooo...onto the issue of the day.

Another school project left entirely up to me.........the evil, wicked, inept, lowly SM.

So, SD8 has a project due in two weeks. Some of it has to be done from an encyclopedia, some from text book, some from notes in class, and a little from computer. It's a brochure depicting France. It's BM's weekend, so I suggested to SD8 that she and her mom get started on it this weekend. SD8 says, but mom and BF broke up and he took his computer. I told her that they could do the encyclopedia work and SD8 says they don't have any. I suggested going to the library and SD8 says they have overdue books and BM won't take them there anymore. I said, well, uh..............?

FH told me that I have something against SS...

hopeful_sm's picture

Sad Last night I decided that it was time to talk to FH about SS14 behavior. I've tried to lay low for the past couple of days and it's drive FH crazy. I can talk to him about anything but this. He tends to get very defensive and upset with me.
Anyway, I told him about SS behavior and how it hurts me when he acts like this and when I try and talk to him about it SS is not receptive...bla, bla, bla..

Dilemma

dogmom's picture

I have two adult skids that have young children. They insist on referring to us as Opa (granddad in Dutch) and 'my name'.
One of the grandchildren has started calling me by my first name now, which bothers me, because I would like to be known as Oma (grandma) and not by my first name.
Even if it's Oma + my first name, it would be fine.
I feel that it not only is improper for a young child to call an elder by their first name only, but it is divisive to only call the grandfather (my husband) Opa , and me by my first name.

something else

tougher than I thought's picture

I'm telling you guys my struggles one blog at a time lol.....Friday night there was text on our cell phone from the BF saying that "he still calls her name out at night". He is a drunk and probabley was at the time! Its been 3 years now we've been married and every now and then he'll rear his ungly head! I still have to see him in the small town we live in and he is still in the boys lives!

behavior

tougher than I thought's picture

Is it normal and how many of the bloggers still sleep with there kids? Both boys 7 and 10 have there own rooms, but everynight my wife has to go to bed with them in one room, so all 3 of them sleep in one bed in one room. She finds her way to our room sometime late in the night. She also has to either help give them a shower or ends up showering with them. At what age do you start teaching them more independence?
