I was wrapping all the gifts for all the kids b/c I love to wrap and dh can't. So I was wrapping the skids gifts when I realized that ss15 is short a gift! LOL Now I didn't go shopping for them dh did. I told dh about it b/c I thought maybe I was missing one that I just couldn't find. NOPE he didn't get him one. Not only that sh is broke. I don;t know how he is going to get one more? I would lend him the money but I'm broke too. SOOO we will have to figure something out. I don't know how he did it but Something else I have to deal with.

O/T: I Finally Understand

helena_brass's picture

In the beginning of my relationship with BF I often worried (fueled/reinforced in some small part by stories I read on this site) that BM would at some point realize what she had lost in BF and would try to get him back. I knew that BF stayed in the dysfunctional marriage for so long because he felt the kids needed both parents, and I wondered if he would get back together with her for their sake.

Does your DH?

Seem to think that his custody, visitation arrangement is the WORST of all time????? I spend countless hours per year trying to get him to realize that there are plenty of good men, good fathers who have it waaaaaaay worse than he does.

I am constantly reminding him what it means to get divorced and how he walked into it with eyes wide open. Why can't he just be thankful that BM pawns them off on us anytime she wants to go out and have a good time? That's a lot more than some dads get!

SS32 pregnant AGAIN!!!!

stepgin's picture

For those of you that have read my posts you know my "adult" stepkids are emotional teenagers! Thanksgiving went fine, by the way, because sd and her family didn't show up. Which was fine.
Now I've found out through devious means, that my SD is pregnant with her 5th child by her 5th baby daddy. The fathers have all been thugs and criminals and this one is no exception. He is supposed to turn himself in to the DOC on the 28th to start serving his sentence for dealing crack. This is the kind of guy she exposes her current kids to!!!

Sweet Revenge

ddakan's picture

I read on wiki:

The best revenge is to just get on with life. Just enjoy life and say thank God, and move on. Revenge is sweet but them being jealous of you is the icing on the cake.

Also, the more time you sit thinking about how to hurt them is more time you are losing that you could be enjoying life and moving on.

Having said all this, I've also contacted an attorney to get the child support stopped because the filthy bitch fails to maintain control of the child. He quit high school and does drugs.

"new at stepparenting"

somerg's picture

ok so i've only been a step mom for almost 2 years. may not be new to some but to me i'm still "learning". I'm young compared to my dh he's 50 (almost 51) and i'm 27 (almost 28) my daughter is almost 8 and youngest sd just turned 13 friday and middle sd wb 15 in july oldest is grown and in TN (not an issue with her).

I was raised with step parents on both sides, knew my sd well growing up (hated him) and because dad wasn't there just spent last 10 years getting to know sm and in june gave her my ok to call me her d and say "our daughter" when introducing me to ppl-we're close.

Up until 2:00 am

Not the Evil Stepmom's picture

So last night my H and I were up until 2:00 arguing about the skids and Christmas. Oh happy day! He thinks that I'm mean to his kids and make them feel uncomfortable. I said well what would you like me to do to make them feel better around me. I wasn't trying to be smart. I didn't even say it with a tone in my voice. He came back with well you should know how to act you are in customer service after all! I was serious I don't know what to do. I have tried everything.

Don't you just love it....

Grown nearly 26 y.o. SD "can't" work because she's so busy raising her 3 kids under 6 years of age. Busy, busy, busy...so busy that she apparently spends a good majority of the day on the PC posting on FB, every little moment of her life.

I swear, I've never, ever run into such an entitled spoiled person who does NOT come from money (not by a long shot). Just recently she called daddy to the rescue again, asking for money (which I just found out was for food...supposedly). (See my last blog for details on that whole thing.)

HELP

majones1716's picture

OK someone please tell me what to do. My SD16, has twice, in the past, snuck out of the house. The last time she went thru her bedroom window and left in a car around 1am. Her dad grounded her for 1 month. I know thats not long enough but what can I do. So Now this morning she texted my daughter and asked her when her and my mother would be home (they went to a dr appt) so she could make sure she was home before they got back. Then to find out she had a guy sleep in her bedroom last night and went out with him this morning. The husband doesn't want to believe it.
