Alright, this blog entry is written to quell the burning questions everyone has as to why I'm this depressed about everything. As well as to address the other comments about "oh at least you're not from Rwanda" because in reality, and in various respects, it IS possible to be worst off than a Rwandan.
Just to warn you and in advance, this is very much a rant and rave. Choose carefully before replying.
Let us start with the obvious and the unapparent, the obvious being an "obvious immigrant" such as a Rwandan and the "Unapparent immigrant" such as a Canadian.
any suggestions on how to deal with a brat of a 17 y/o step daughter? she has flat out told me that I'm not family because I'm the step but yet she enjoys all the luxuries I provide for the household. My wife and I have only been together 7 years, we have an 8mo old son. i am counting down the days till this brat graduates high school and goes off to college so we can have a normal family finally.
If the earth was square,, I know who I'd push off it....

I am proud of myself today. Usually I am super helpful to SO and go out of my way to help him related to his kid. Somtimes I feel like he should be doing more and taking more responsibility for knowing information, etc.
Today, I have put my foot down and am actually doing my own thing instead of making SO's life easier and making my day longer. Rather than dealing with the 2.5-3 hr. drama of going to get SD, I am going to the spa. }:)

Hi there,
I'm 27 and dating a 29-year-old man with a 3-year-old daughter. I started dating him after the marriage ended but before the divorce was final -- gray area, I know, but so far no drama about the timing and it's not like I had anything to do with the demise of their marriage. We don't live together and he has 50/50 custody with the BM and only just got his kid into 5-day-a-week daycare.
Last night we went out to eat and I over heard someone at another table say "Well the college has been shut down for 3 days but the high school drops have managed to get to work" and they all laughed. A lot of people at this table.
I haven't decided if they were taking a dig out high school drop outs or people with college degrees?? What do you think?
I seriously wonder if OneNighter and XW ever get tired of being such royal witches and always trying to find an excuse to get upset about something, whether or not it merits it. You know, those types that just louvre their drama.
Pick up one of her sons from school because he was sick. She called and asked if I could. I was already out on the road coming back from an errand, so no real problem there.
Nice of her to break from her firm stance of ignoring me so that she can ask me to help her out.
BTW - homemade sweet -n- sour chicken is on the menu for dinner. Gonna need to go get some stir fry veggies to go with though...but dinner will be ready by 5:30 CT.

Bm actually wants dh to pick up the boys she said she is going crazy being snowed in with the boys! LOL I told dh what makes her think I'm not going crazy myself! LOL I mean I do have my 2 that are out of school and I haven't been to work this week. He said yeah I know but it is my weekend. I said yeah I know I just found it funny. LOL
