My daddy is a bad bad man and does bad things.
I don't want to be with you daddy you broke my mommys hurt and I love her and she loves me more.
My sister is adopted.

So after Easter, when she threw her hands up at me and stared me down I'd have enough. Then the following wkend which was our turn with her children she has the nerve to ask an hour before we pick them up can you get them an hour early. FDH responds with no but you can drop them off befor I'm suppose to get them. Well FDH was in the shower when BM pulled up. SD4 was crying as usual to not come she wants to be at her real house blah blah blah....BM turns around gives me a dirty look won't give the youngest to me and tells SD4 go find daddy. Really WTF is that about? So I sent BM a txt.

After the failure of first marriages.

Macystarz's picture

It seems after the failure of my bf and my first marriage, it seems that we both have lost our freedom. We have our children thinking they have all the say of our relationship and our parents have the say too, and still the ex's have say. Well not my ex as my child is not my ex's.

My bf's parents won't allow bf and I to date, and neither will his kids allow it. It is good his parents don't live in town. Bm won't allow his parents to be in contact with his children.

I am not sure whether to be sad or angry

I think SS's mother has reached a all time low. I never in my nearly half a decade life thought I would see a mother do this. The bitch has done some evil things before. But this is something else. We have a friend, Nancy, who is also a friend of the ex-wife. Nancy was our friend first and we asked her to be friends with the bitch so we could get updates on SS when he refused contact with us. It was a dirty move but we were deperate and had no choice. Nancy calls me yesterday informing me that my husband's ex-wife lied to SS and told him she had a heart attack and was in the hospital.

New.(long)...wishing fiance's kid had stayed "lost" and feeling guilty for my feelings

Hello, I'm new to this site, been lurking for a while, had a huge fight tonight and still dwelling on it...
I have two bio children with my SO, daughter 5 and son 1. My SO has an 8 yr old daughter whose mother took off when the kid was a few weeks old and hid from him until about 2 yrs ago when his mom found her on facebook.
Although he did tell me about the kid, I never gave it much thought and I guess never realized I would suddenly have a stepdaughter.

New here and looking for lots of support!

Hello, I am in a very complicated relationship! I have a 10 year old boy and my boyfriend has a 9 and ten year old boy. I often feel like I am at the bottom of the totem pole. My BF boys come first, his job where he travels 50% of the time, and his ex that seems to be able to call all the shots.

He has signed the papers months ago and his ex won't. Even though it was she who left him. She blames her lawyer as her excuse for not signing.

His sons don't want him dating and he carries guilt for the family breaking up even though it is his ex who had affairs and left him.

Sunday night Roast ending in disaster...

belle_27's picture

So, my partner was feeling a bit down and wanting to see his kids a bit more, We have them 40% of the time and agreed we should start up a weekly family dinner sort of thing to have a tradition in our house. We agreed as it is winter in Australia that a Sunday night roast would be a really lovely idea. The kids just live up the road so every second weekend we don’t have them BM agreed they could come over for dinner on Sunday nights.
