Sadly, my prediction was correct.

BM was due to drop off the kids at 630p she has not yet arrived. Refuses to answer her cell phone or home phone, the children's cell phones must be powered off as when SO calls they go straight to voice mail, no ringing at all.

HCSO was there to witness she did not arrive with the children. BM's car is in her driveway according to HCSO, however she is not answering the door or phone calls from them either. We have a call number that basically just references date and time, that SO provided proof BM should be bringing the kids back this evening and failed to deliver them or communicate in regard to her failure to abide by the CO. Looks like the attorney will be at the court house tomorrow morning filing contempt charges.

He did. They did go by her house, reports are that the car is in the driveway but she is not answering the door or her home or cell numbers. They can't break down the door and grab the kids, pesky laws! It is a civil matter, not criminal so they really can't get involved past doing a standby or one attempt to contact. SO's attorney will be filing contempt charges this morning.

SO is going to the school today. If BM sends them to school, he will be bringing them home from the school (when it is time for school to be out) as the school knows this is his custodial week. If they aren't in school he is contemplating calling DCFS to do a well fair check since BM is showing irrational behaviors. That part he wants to discuss with the attorney before he does it.

Myself? I am really trying to stand back, let him handle this and just support him. As everyday goes by that BM continues her path to destruction, I am finding it harder to do that.

All I can say is thank god your fskids are 16 and 13 - can you imagine what the kids would be thinking if they were 10 years younger and in the "believe everything they're told" phase? Not that teenagers aren't gullible, but some of them do have some semblance of reasoning ability.

Stay strong, and I hope your attorney is a bulldog!
