Ok one more for the night: poor baby ss13 is scared so he's sleeping on the couch

step off already's picture

Question of the day: why is ss13 such a baby? Answer: because his parents like it that way!

DH and I went to go see The Conjuring at 11 am this morning. Even though SS is a fraidy cat, DH asked him to come alon and he willingly came even though he knew it was a very scary movie. Well guess who is too afraid to sleep in his bed tonight. All alone upstairs?

o/t i finally found a use for some old make up. whats your ideas

purpledaisies's picture

I had some blush/ bronze that I used a few times but didn't like it as blush and I almost never use bronzer. But I have been trying to find a way to make a self Tanner that I can do easy at home and no streaks.

Then I ran across to put it in lotion woo hoo! Love it. I know its not a very permanent thing but if you use it a few times a week it looks great.

So what's your ideas for using things you have that didn't work for what you bought it for but is great for something else.

So excited.

How many times do I need to ask DH to speak w ss13 about barging into our room?

No really. Because there must be some magical number that I'm not aware of.

As if it wasn't annoying enough already to have a 13 year old boy walk into my room whenever he feels it necessary but now that baby has arrived and us staying in the bedroom with me and DH, SS thinks he can walk into the room when we aren't even in there so he can look at the baby.

Just venting

Notmyownlife's picture

Its been a while since ive been here but I need to just vent, The outcome of the situation is obvious but its so rediculously absurd that I just need to say it out loud

Bm has done it again, Thinks she just has a right to say and do what she wants because she is compeltly unaware of her really crappy parenting.

And another giggle at BM's expence

theoutsider's picture

BM is now all upset that she can't call the kids cell phone, FDH terminated service because BM would power off the phone and not let him talk to the kids or the kids call,...

So BM sends an email DEMANDING to talk to the kids (it had been 48 hours since she saw them last).
But in her email she included the phrase
"You need to provide an alternative phone number for that of which I can call to speak to the kids as well as they can call me with as they wish."

SO FDH responded back:

THANK YOU BM FOR LETTING US DOCUMENT THAT YOU DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOUR DAUGHTER!

We got the kids back from BM Friday night,... I posted that she just sent a text at 4pm (pick up is 5pm) that the kids are to be picked up at her parents house (45 miles away from her place). That was an ordeal in and of itself, but we went past.

The kids asked FDH if they could stay the night at BM's parent's house and FDH agreed.

SO, fastforward to Saturday afternoon when FDH picks up the kids from their other grandparents.

DH said I need to be friends with BM

:jawdrop:

Really, DH?

We just drop the kids back, and were talking about kids going to college, and I said that college is a lot of reading and work, and he drew the conclusion that SD probably isn't going to college. I offered to help SD with her reading and he said it was a good idea. But then, the conversation went to how torn the skids are and how hard it is for them, because their mother feels threatened by me. That DH and the skids are the ones who get hurt because they are in the middle, and that what will help the skids MOST is if I was friends with BM.

Is taking something without asking stealing?

My skids constantly take things from around the house that I left in the kitchen or living room so that when I need it or go to get it, it's gone. I have constantly said "if it's not yours, don't touch it" from the time they were 3 & 5 years old. Now, they are 14 (sd) & 16 (ss). Their BM died when they were young. I came in and they learned to manipulate people at a young age so when I didn't let them manipulate me and I didn't give in to their every whim, I instantly became a horrible person.

Finally Found My Fed Up Face

I am so glad I have found this site. I need to vent so badly.

Background: I am a recently married woman to my husband, who I do love, who happens to have three children, aged 10, 7, and 4, two girls and a boy, respectively. They live with their biological mother most of the time and my husband (excitedly) takes them every other weekend and holiday, as well as any other time their lazy assed mother decides to ditch them so she can spend our money on spa days with her fat friends.
