As I've mentioned, I am a mother to a 22 year-old son who I raised alone from birth. He now lives an hour away and we have a nice relationship. (He lives in the town I lived in before I moved to live with FDH). When BS was young I dated when I could and always thought I'd marry. But when he hit his teen years, I realized that hadn't happened yet and my son didn't need some man walzing into his life telling him what to do at that point and no man would've wanted to deal with him and his gaggle of friends that practically lived at my house. So I stopped dating for his remaining years (HS).
Haven't posted in awhile had some personal issues going on with my family and such and DH and I had a baby in January. Things with OSD had kind of straightened out or so I thought. In the last three weeks that child UGH! Right back to the same bull sh*t. The lying the stealing the mouth! Been in three fights the last two weeks at school and of COURSE it's "never her fault" the kicker came last week. DHs boss had some money missing. Called a meeting none of the other employees knew about it. Boss was freaking out. Well come to find out OSD had taken it. DH hit the roof. Called the cops ect.
Apperently when the boys went home Sunday they asked if they could come back this weekend to help finish moving. Yuck asked them so your dads not done? They said mom dad has a lot of crap! Lol
Ok yes dh does he is kind of a horder but I've kept him in check to a shed and that's all he gets. Lol.
So in short the boys will be here this weekend too. Yay we need the help. They are so sweet.
Since SS's are still in the state's care, FDH has to pay the state but not the mortgage company and not the difference to Bottom Feeder...its still the same amount and I don't quite understand why she doesn't have to pay anything. On a side note FDH says she looks more like a train wreck than she did last month in court. We also found out that her visits via phone and in person to the SS's has to be supervised and one of the social workers has already reported her for filling the kids' heads with her crqp.
We took all the kids and SS13's two cousins out to the mountains yesterday and did some hiking, sightseeing, rock climbing (OK, on a very small scale, but they gotta start somewhere).
Halfway through the day, SS13 tells DH how much he loves it and the entire day. He does this often when we do family outings. We are a pretty busy family as we have ss13 full time and my BD12, BS10 and BS8 about 60%+ of the time, plus we try to go to their games even when they're not with us.
Ok. I'm 34, my gf is 28. We both have a child from previous relationships. My daughter is 8 and her son is 11. I have my daughter every other weekend and she has her son full time. We've been dating for about 5 yrs now and we recently got our first apt together in summer 2012....so the problem- my daughter is very immature n our kids typically don't get along. My daughter constantly whines and her son constantly bullys on her. I'm always mediating between them 2.....Although I do admit it has gotten slightly better over the past couple months. The kids still argue but not as much.
Just curious what others have been accused of that others say makes them a "bad SM"?
DH recived the worlds dumbest and I mean dumbest email ever from FIL because we refuse to answer his calls or text
You'd be so proud... not! The weirdness continues after our v-day 'gifts' from the sKids. After digging deeper into the mystery as to why BM would send the skids over to our house with v-day balloons for us, we are left with more questions than answers.
Apparently she put dh down as a reference when she applied for student loans 6 yes ago. Ya know, when she enrolled in college even though she didn't have a high school diploma or GED...?!?!
Surprise surprise, she didn't graduate....didn't complete her GED and defaulted on her loans. Shocking. Maybe Sallie mae should have called her references 6 years ago before they gave her the money....hose is out of the barn now.
