ToxicTroll losing job, money stress and other updates

Well, after several weeks of staying home because her doctor told her she must, she is finally getting the boot from her job.

This is from her brain injury from a few years ago. She told DH that she is getting a 30k severance, and they are letting her go in November, and she is losing her insurance. The settlement is still in the works, though, so she wont be in the streets by any means, now or in the near future.

So this is long, and tedious, but I just dont know what to do. 

Last night I was hanging out with Munchkin SD12, she was happy and chatting. then she brought up the topic of "who comes first in the family". She is being taught in school that "the children should ALWAYS come first". I disagreed, and told her that the family unit's  #1 responsibility is the children, but that the spouses first consideration is the relationship with the spouse. I tried defining between WANTS and NEEDS, but she didnt hear me.

I cant sleep, its eating me up inside. I know that there are worse things in stepworld and I know I have bigger problems than this, but I am so LIVID, my stomach is in knots. 

ToxicTrolls' sister, HomelessTroll has been booted out of the skanky apartment. She smokes like a chimney, and the room she was in smells bad. I know its for the benefit of the child, but Munchkin calls her father for EVERYTHING. Do we have this, do we have that, and now they took the steam cleaner machine, to clean the room, and I am seeing complete red right now.

Just a rant*** for ease-of-use-and-reading I am listing a few here:

ToxicTroll has never graduated from high school. She left after 11th grade. She has been keeping Munchkin SD12 out of school here and there, for reasons such as "she has a headache" and "the grandparents are visiting (thats todays)".

After spending time in the courthouse, I found out that ToxicTroll is currently winning her workmans comp case. They offered to settle for 48K, and she turned it down.

After spending so much time researching Child Support, I need to find out if this will affect anything. Does a workmans comp payout affect her incme for child support calculations? 

Im having "child support discovery fatigue" currently so I dont feel like reading and asking about it anymore for now.

For now, I just want to think about me, DH and our future that we are building.

I keep saying this! But wow.

I heard from DH last night that a friend of ToxicTroll's (she got him his job in his current field but he is not actuall friends with her any longer and is not invited to anything), saw a Facebook post from her, saying that "she won her child support case and now will win her workers comp case, whoot whoot! congratulations to me!!!"
