Putting a dog to sleep- why does it trigger so much? (very long post)

I just need to vent. I have posted/replied many times about the relationship between my FH and SS10, how isolating I sometimes feel, the challenge that it's been for FH to shift his "partner" status from his son to me (quick overview: SS10 was always treated like an adult, taken to adult functions, talked to and privy to all adult things, yet no responsibilities and largely emotionally immature; he is with FH 50% of the time and moves between his parents houses multiple times per week).

BM2 is weird. She puts on the poor me act and has everyone buying it, including FH. When he calls to find out about the kids she tells him things that aren't necessarily related. She has called to tell him about her car getting broken into, though her BF fixed the window. She tells him about her sick friend. She tells him that she is worried her BF won't commit. How do I know? Because he turns around and tells me.

SD19 using me as excuse

not to visit DH here at home. Evidently, she feels some vibe w/me. WHAT??? Last time she was here, on NY's eve, I spent the whole evening playing games w/her, DH and nephew after my little ones went to bed.

After talking to therapist/friend, I had DH take "Five Love Languages" to SD and ask her to read the 5 love languages and let us know which one she is (I have everyone else pegged in my family, but her). Now she won't even read it. I guess I cannot meet her needs.

Advice needed?

Okay. My SS lives with us his is 17 and we were at a wrestling match yesterday and he was with his mom for a couple hours after school yesterday and she brought him to the match. He doesn't wrestle my younger ss does. So when he got there he didn't even say hi to me or acknowledge me at all. This has happened on several occasions when we have to go to events. Their dad, my husband their dad coaches the wrestling. So I sat with my in-laws who she said hello to and then she did say hi to me (I guess cause I was sitting right there) But my ss doesn't even acknowledge me.

HUH? WHAT? EXCUSE ME? YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING? SHE IS REALLY CRAZY!!!!!!!!!

For the third consecutive visit - my SD has not come with her medications. (Absolutely NO Medications!) She usually comes with 4 - 5 at a time most other visits.

Over the past 6 years - BM has made DH believe all these medications were absolutely necessary. Just last summer she sent DH an email stating SD could die on his watch after she found out we had latex ballons at a birthday party here in VA. (Not to mention she had them as well at the birthday party the day before)

In Honor Of Today - And then the fight started...

How Fights Get Started...

My wife sat down on the couch next to me as I was flipping channels.

She asked, 'What's on TV?'

I said, 'Dust.'

And then the fight started....

My wife and I were watching "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" while we were in bed. I turned to her and said, "Do you want to have sex?"

"No," she answered.

I then said, "Is that your final answer?"

She didn't even look at me this time, simply saying, "Yes."
