The start of the biblical understanding of the original sin.

Men's Fraternity
it's the 2nd 1/2 now. We have gone through our past, we have dealt with our wounds.
Now opening up a new chapter.
We start with the beginning.

Now as I am in this class I learned something that clicked and resonated in side me about Adam and Eve.
This generation by large looks at that story and sees Eve as the one who sinned.

After breaking it down and looking at it full hearted.
the understanding is it is Adam's sin...

My Scale

My scale has been stuck on the same value for a week.
I hope it is wrong.
Weigh in is tonight.
Maintaining weight = boring

My son turns 18 today

Yesterday we had a birthday party for him.
This is my step son from a previous marriage. He lives with us 100% of the time.
He sees his Bio Dad about one weekend a month and the other weekends he visits his mom.

This marked a milestone in my life.
17 years ago I did not know if he would except me as a step dad.
He never called me Jon in all those years. Always dad. When my ex wife and I split up, he lived with her for a little while and eventually asked to come live with me again.

Breaking the overly bonded mother wound

This is a letter I wrote to my mom, She got the full blown version yesterday in person from me. In front of my sister. She was saposed to get this after Christmas. I didn't want to spoil the holidays. But she was pushing me beond my limits. After
It is very personal and I wouldn't usualy post something like this.
But after reading about so many distraught spouces dealing with a mother or mother in law, that presses her life into your lives tearing apart your maraige I thought I would post this up as an example of how to break the overly bonded mother wound.
