BM is returning the paperwork Monday to the Lawyer to be filed. BF is now going to be Custodial Parent! The kids are still doing ok, they have been a bit more rebellious, but I have been home a lot these last 2 weeks and both my kids and his kids are doing chores!
It does kill me... he says, "have the kids do the dishes...don't worry about them" then does not have the kids do the dishes. Then complains when they don't get done.
Sigh, no rest for the weary.
I had to take my baby girl to emergency tonight because she was running a high fever. I called her doctor and he said to take her to the hospital. Everything is okay. The doctor said to give her some tylenol and lots of fluids. Hopefully she will sleep through the night as usual so she feels a bit better in the morning.
BM and her hubby came to get one of the skids tonight. I stuck to my disengagement plan from her and her drama, and "hid" in the bathroom the whole time she was here! I now have a lovely new pedicure, and sculpted eyebrows!
SS14 was going for the weekend. She was irritated SD17 had to work, and she hasn't seen SS15 since Christmas, so she and her hubby came in for a bit to sit with the other two kids and catch up with them about school and stuff.
Well after so much consideration and my stepd being gone for 2 months I have considered letting her come back home since my husband left a month after to take care of her because she's from another country. He did just sign a 6 mos lease on an apt that he'll be living with her there .
So my BS has been lazy and not filling out his planner at school and has been playing catch up with homework all week.
I warned him. I said, "Write your homework assignments in your planner so that I can double check you.
I said if you don't you will get a spanking!

Last night I was already frustrated when DH and SD7 got home because baby girl was having a fuss day. DH starts letting baby girl pet and pull on one of our cats, and I ask him to not do that because earlier in the day I was having a really hard time getting baby girl to be gentle with the cats so I would just like him to leave it alone. What does DH do while I'm sitting right there? Let baby girl pull on the cat!! Like he must know better and I did something wrong earlier.
Hey, I just realized that yesterday was my one-year anniversary of being on ST! Happy anniversary to me!
And on that note -- WHEW, has everyone noticed that we have suddenly gotten a ton of new members? Must be something in the air...

It makes it hard to follow the thread. Is this new or did I just start noticing it?
BS5 got out of school early due to snow. I was trying to finish work, so turned on cartoon network---usually squat is on. But today, "Tom and Jerry". My BS was rolling w/laughter. He never laughs like that w/the crap on today. I miss Bugs Bunny, Mighty Mouse, and all the classic Looney Tunes. :?
