Do boys ever outgrow peeing on the floor? What is so hard about keeping your pee stream inside the very large porcelaine target??? I am not a neat freak, but this is getting ridiculous. Is a bathroom that doesn't smell like a truck stop urinal too much to ask?! I don't have external equipment but it really doesn't seem like a complicated process to get the pee inside a large round bowl. So if you're peeing on the floor constantly, it either being done on purpose, you're lazy, or you're disgusting. Besides mopping every day (which I am) what more can I do keep from losing my mind??
I always feel so guilty about blogging about our situation and would hate FH to read some of my blogs, as I really lay it out in the open where I really should be discussing it with him. But FH works 7 days a week and teaches after hours and I really don't want to cause more conflict than I already do. FH knows that I have joined this blog but I have told him that it is mostly SM's (sorry to the SF's!) that I chat to and he has nothing to worry about, as it is just a place to let off steam. But you see he is quite jealous and thinks that I am chatting up guys :O .
What is happening here?! This 13 year old girl is on our site... I was pissed and made that clear!! Then I read along and see that we should not post and be mean cause she may do something to herself or whatever.. So then I feel like an ass for being a bitch to her! THEN ppl are pissed.. What are we doing here?! I did not want her on our site, I mis-typed something saying that she should tell her father they are married.. I DID NOT mean to type that, it was a mistake, I meant to type she should tell the woman her father is married to.. If she is concerned about her treatment or whatever!
Wow! After reading a few of these stories, I can actually feel the stress roll of my back.
My step-daughter has only been here a week and will be here for the extended 42 days. My husband and I have already had our first major fight. We were at the point of separation. BUT he finally realized in the middle of our scream fest that his 5 year old was very happy to see us fighting. To the point that she was sitting at the table swinging her legs and smiling like she just got a pony!
Well the saga continues. After DH had taken SD14 to her mom's on Wednesday night, it went from Bad to Worse. SD ran into him at a restaurant and handled herself poorly. We are pretty sure BM doesn't know about this. We received a fax from the the Mom's attorney. Completely misstating the way DH handled the drop off. Lawyer stated the DH told her he was done being her father and to have a nice life. And threatened to take her dog to the pound. He told her he could not parent her this way. She kept breaking rules and then telling him that there was nothing he could do about.
the thing that has got me to start venting now is that my dad and step mom were going to get a divorce and it had been about 2 or 3 weekd after they went to court and she called it off... my dad went through a tuf time before she called is off because of they wulda been together 8 years n jun or july and my dads begged her to leave becuase she wouldnt treat me and my brother right...
Just thought I'd share this with all my fellow female bloggers......So take heart
One Flaw In Women
I know they are mentally ill, but I still can't wrap my head around the fact that their hate for DH & I is so much greater than their love for SD18. I posted last wk about NONE of them even coming to her graduation, or even acknowledging it. I had her party Saturday, and not ONE of them even acknowledged that either. I would've expected at least she get a phone call or card, or something, but NOTHING from them....
I was thinking this morning about how every step parent has an imaginary line that they cannot cross because they are, indeed, a STEP parent and not THE parent.
Where is your line? And who keeps you at that line? Is it you making a boundary, your SO, the children (
"you're not my mom!"), etc?
So, almost on a weekly basis, sometimes more The BM decides she is going to call my hubby with a complaint about me. Its never anything true, normal, accurate. It is soooo frustrating and annoying. My husband handles it well. Tries to ignore it as much as possible but it infuriates me in the worst way. They are things like- I took too many pictures of her son at an event. I stood too close to her at an event. I shouldn't be at an event. "Its only for my SS parents" she will even complain to my hub about my family being involved in my SS life. There are so many more examples.
