Massive CS$$ to BM and a nice story of a father FINALLY standing up for himself to skids...after 6.5 years of silence!!!!!

Milomom's picture

Just wanted to share with all of you, my ST friends, a SMALL but important story about my FDH & how he is SLOWLY starting to "clue fskids in" about the MASSIVE CS$$ he pays BM/his exW. For those of you that don't know this background, my FDH pays over $1600/month (plus 90% of all "extras" and unreimbursed medical/dental expenses) for 2 kids that we share true 50/50 joint physical & legal custoday with his exW/BM!!

My SS is ruining my pregnancy!

dezm00's picture

So, my little devil of a SS is ruining everything about my pregnancy. It's my first child and I don't get to have any of those special moments with my husband. He ruined my wedding and now he's hooked his claws into this and making it a shitty experience. He lives with us fulltime. I wish he didn't. I cannot stand the little boy. Don't even want to be around him. I am honestly considering leaving my husband because of how much I dislike his kid.

How much are tattoos? SS is getting one for BD

LizzieA's picture

Well, the CS clock just stopped and SS is now 18! The last few weeks SS has been all about getting a tattoo on his birthday. And his sister is bragging about taking him!

This kid has crashed a vehicle (DUI), been to court numerous times, can never save enough to come see his dad (we go there a couple times a year), etc. And he needs musical equipment that's quite pricey. (always breaking things stupidly)
So just curious what the latest reality show lifestyle decision costs.

And please, if you have tattoos, great, this is more about the choices the kid makes.

Just need to vent

SD14 left her retainer at our house yesterday. DH already took her back home (she lives an hour away). She calls him around 9pm asking him to bring retainer to her bc if he didn't....get this...all of her teeth will fall out of her mouth!!

He had to tell her 3 times "NO".

When...when..when will this end?

Adult children living at home -- what is appropriate?

AlexandraL's picture

Just curious what other people think about adult children (I am mainly talking about children 30+ years old) living at home with one or more children of their own after a divorce. Do you think it is appropriate for their parent/s to let their kids live at home for only a set period of time (say six months -- to get back on their feet) or for an indefinite amount of time.

The way HIS SON was as a baby.

meneran's picture

I dont have a child of my own. My bf does.
Yesterday was some commercial about babyformula on tv. He started conversation about how he has seen some program on tv and how those babyformulas are almost like breastmilk. He then proceeded to say how his son was using -such and such- brand. How he liked -such and such- baby can food (not sure how they are called, you know those you buy with veggies, fruits, meat etc).
He knows i want a child of my own.

Why would it bother me what they were doing to their child? Why would it bother me what their child liked?

He is his mother's child!!!

MsFedup1's picture

My ss18 knows he is his mother's child. I am so pissed off right now and I dont know where to start...If anyone read my blog earlier I was talking about how my ss bm has been taken my husband back and forth to court for more money when he is already paying her $304 every 2weeks and on top of that the court has order him to pay 48% of his college tuiton which is $42,000 a year.

Run in with In-laws.............. errrrrr

anita...sigh's picture

My in-laws live way across the country from me, the nephews are grown and doing great things in other parts of the world. I've only met them once but we seemed to get along and I assumed they would share the same values and sense of humour my DH does.... boy was I wrong.

I really am begining to believe Facebook bad! I recently commented on my sister-in-law's picture of her grandkids and my nephew.

My piggy back riding 13yo ss is baaaack!

Tx mommy of 3's picture

So no daddy giving piggy back rides this time. But ugh!!! I just cannot STAND this immature kid. I can stand the kid if he were to act his age. It is the fact that he is 13 and acts like an 8 year old that GETS ON MY NERVES!!!! Today we went to walmart. We happened to see one of those carts with the 2seaters in front of te basket. Well my bios4&5 love those. They are a pain to push and we never see them anyway. Well we see one and dh gets it. We put baby in the basket and bios sit in the two seater part. Ss13 left out rides on the end of the basket.

Advice please. Biomom has hit a new low.

rusticporch's picture

The biomom told us to not celebrate Christmas because she is now a Jehovah's Witness and she has the major decision making ability which includes religious upbringing as stated in the parenting plan. We asked and found out that she can't prevent us from celebrating it with the kids and told her. So we find out today, when it's our day to get them back, that she is not giving them to us because she has filed a police report. Contacted the police and all they could tell us is that there was a child abuse report filed.
