Hold everything SD13 is BORED

So, she has done this since she was 11-12. She will come up to me, interrupt what I am doing and detail just WHY she is bored, and asks me to do something with her.

I REALLY hate this! EVERY TIME it makes me want to scream and I am considered a REALLY patient person. Is this NORMAL teen things?

She has a ton of things she can do with her time to self-entertain:

  - Play with baby bearded dragon.

  - Play with one of two rabbits

  - Draw on $1,400 tablet her mother bought her

Homeless Toxic Troll updates

So, last night, as we were having some adult time alone, eating and laughing, etc., DH gets a text from Munchkin who is supposedly with her mother, as its her visitation. They were moving.

"Im coming over with all my stuff".

So - She brought over 5 bags full of her things from the knarly cock-roach apartment. Without any communications at all.

They found a temporary home for their rabbit.

No word about where Feral Forger will land, just that Toxic Troll is in fact staying with her sister in another town, in a 1 bedroom apartment.

O/T I just got a gift from one of my favorite Authors!!!!

Catherine Ryan Hyde!!!! She sent me a kindle book shes written, through Amazon, in response to an email I sent her yesterday.

Biggrin Early Christmas!

I worked with her briefly when I was doing bookkeeping for a childrens literary agent.

She is such an inspiration to me, has a really nice, down-to-earth sweet personality, and her concept of pay-it-forward has inspired so many.

Plus I really enjoy reading her stuff.

Toxic Troll requesting "fake check" from DH

As Im writing this, my emotions are all over the place.

Last night BM Toxic Troll came and picked up Munchkin SD13, and was crying. Last month, she was evicted from the apartment. Supposedly during a walk through they saw stains on the carpet from Feral Forger who is a serial hair-dyer. A few weeks ago, she kept Munchkin out of school to search for new apartments, which they found one close by.

Its been a great Thanksgiving thus far! Getting the house cleaned and cleared, getting my appetite worked up for the giant feast to be had in a few hours, as SIL's newly purchased home.

Of course there was a little drama in the area of toxic Troll BM. She is having a tough time proving her income for the new apartment. Egads, of course she is. Shes not working and is living off her workmans comp settlement.

FWIW I used to really love Channing Tatum and his, em, work.

But really - taking the kid 5 days out of school? I resent just 1 day for no reason. Toxic Troll had Munchkin go look for apartments and took her out of school for a day for this.

And facetiming EVERY DAY? That would make me reall unhappy. To have to hear Toxic Trolls voice on the phone during a phone conversation irks me. Facetiming the other parent during our visitation seems like an intrusion.

The other items seem reasonable...I cant help wondering if Jenna is THAT BM or is he THAT BD?

OK, so I know its not ideal, but for now I am a bit happy at the current resolution. Munchkin SD13 called her mother, Toxic Troll, last night and she was told that Feral Forger SD20 would again be living with them in the new apartment.

Which caused her to cry a bunch. I tried bolstering her, but eventually she told me "please dont try to comfort me right now", and I just backed right off immediately and told her I would be there for her if she needs me. She said "ok", as if surprised. Pleasantly surprised.

Happy Monday off, Munchkin SD13 is setting boundaries, and a little anxious

I took Friday  through Monday off - to reset and recharge, and yet, here I am, a bit anxious. I really need some feedback and advice. I dont know what to tell DH, and Munchkin  SD13.

Update: My back and body has healed much since the accident. Everything on my car has gotten fixed. Better than before actually, as its an older car with a few bumps in it.

This past weekend we had Dh's 97-year old mom, so I spent some time with her as relief for Muchkin SD13, who was technically watching her (she gets paid good $$$$$), which gave us time to catch up.

Because mommy dearest Toxic Troll is moving within a few weeks. Luckily its an apartment that is close by, but just a little further away.

FEral Forger actually, during drop off of Munchkin SD13, was there and said hello, and gave her dad a hug. Then TT said "she is looking for a new place", and Feral Forger has the nerve to ask daddy dearest "can I move to your place?"

Yeah, over my dead body will that be occurring.

OT- Rear-ended yesterday (Tuesday)

This is actually my first time and I am over the age of 50, so I guess I was due.

The kid (kid because he barely just turned 20, and looked barely 18), was speeding and not watching and hit me, pushing me forward, and luckily I saw it was about to happen, and pushed the brakes so that I wouldnt hit the car in front of me. Also luckily it was a street thing not a highway thing.
