O/T I just got a gift from one of my favorite Authors!!!!

Catherine Ryan Hyde!!!! She sent me a kindle book shes written, through Amazon, in response to an email I sent her yesterday.

Biggrin Early Christmas!

I worked with her briefly when I was doing bookkeeping for a childrens literary agent.

She is such an inspiration to me, has a really nice, down-to-earth sweet personality, and her concept of pay-it-forward has inspired so many.

Plus I really enjoy reading her stuff.

Today - even with all the soggy rain and cold weather and Toxic Troll being shady...its  a good day.

She wrote the book the movie "pay it forward" was based on.

Her book that she gifted is a "how to on getting published". So far I am really enjoying it.

How nice of her! I've read a few of her books. Love how she's able to really empathize with adolescents.

I also appreciate that she is a kind-hearted person. I messed up on something for her and she was very gracious and kind about it.

Not at all a prima donna, even when she is a pretty big deal.

She also invites folks on her blog to write her and she will ALWAYS respond, and that every call her "Catherine". Biggrin

That's awesome! I'm a huge book nerd, and would love to get a gift from my man Stephen King. LOL*give_rose*
