For those of us whose husbands have custody, this is what races through our minds every time the kids go with BM.

It is also the main reason I am glad, if not the only reason I am glad, that Medusa has disappeared from the face of the earth.

I could so see her doing this.

I wonder if Medusa's tax refund was finally intercepted?

On 8/15, DH received a payment of $295.59. It was a typical payment. Two days later, he received a payment of $419.00. Both were applied to "current" support.

On Friday, he received another payment of $1731 - all of which was applied to "past due" support.

I am thinking that because it was an even amount AND it went to back support, that it was some kind of tax refund??

She is still $6749.53 in the hole - lol!!!

I don't know if this is funny or sad, to be honest.

ASS called DH (yes, that's what I said, he called) on Thursday night.

ASS - dad, I need to tell you something

DH - ok

ASS - so my roommmate asked me if I wanted to go to a party in someone else's dorm room.

DH - and?

ASS - so I said yes and we went. When we got there, all the kids were drinking and smoking pot.

DH - ok

ASS - someone offered me a beer but I said no thanks. Someone else offered me a joint but I said no.

Unfuckingbelievable-

Last night I was at the high school football game. BabyVoice is a freshman in the band. I didn't want to go, but DH wanted me to go, so I agreed to go.

I went home from work and changed my clothes.
Met DH at the field.

His parents were there.
I walked up to the row they're sitting in. "Hi guys!"

Crickets. ASSholes didn't say one word to me.

I was going to address it right then and there but didn't want to make a scene. They left at half time, after the band was done.

My DH discovered that there was an "early move in" at ASSUniversity, so he decided to move ASS once - from Frank's house to the dorm - instead of twice - from Frank's house, to DH's mom's house to the dorm.

So, DH drove to the west side of the state yesterday morning, then the two hour drive to school.

I didn't ask a whole lot of questions (not my monkey and all) BUT they chatted a little bit on the drive up about what to expect at college, the things that ASS still needs to get done before his orientation, which will be next week sometime.

These are the things you LIVE to hear from your adult kid :-)

So, Thing2 finally got ahold of Asshat last night to let him know that he wasn't going to be applying to medical school...Thing2 was super nervous about how Asshat and Money-Ka would react because, well, because they are Asshat and Money-Ka.

T2 - got ahold of dad

me - and?

T2 - he was also mega supportive and proud of me so now I just look dumb for worrying about it

Lots of updates here in WOB land. LOTS!!!

First, DH and I had a fabulous time in NYC at the end of July. I came back, had to go out of town for work for two days, then came back and headed to a work conference in Washington, DC. Had a great time, got to see a few sites, all is good.

I noticed a few entries on our master Google calendar while I was gone – to wit:
• Pick up ASS
• ASSCollege Orientation
• ASSCollege classes start

I said nothing to DH about it until I got home, and even then, I waited a few days.
