A CP's worst nightmare- thankfully the girls were found safe

WalkOnBy's picture

For those of us whose husbands have custody, this is what races through our minds every time the kids go with BM.

It is also the main reason I am glad, if not the only reason I am glad, that Medusa has disappeared from the face of the earth.

I could so see her doing this.

That last part where they said it was "unclear if the mother would be charged" makes me want to scream. So basically mom can run off with the kids and probably won't be charged with kidnapping even though she committed the crime.

In my area, several years ago, a non-custodial father failed to return his kids after a weekend visit. For 3 years he tortured the mother, not telling her where they were or if they were even alive. Even after he was arrested and sent to prison for parental kidnapping, he told different stories about how he had killed them or that they were safe with relatives.

They finally found the bodies 3 year after he took them. Quite a different ending.

nopejustnope I would believe the efforts that YOU made, time taken and sleepless nights finally gave your brother a small amount of peace before he passed away.

What a damn shame all of those wasted years for your brother and countless other decent parents who have limited or no time with their kids because of an unstable cp.

I would worry every time BM had visitation. After reading all the CPS reports of what the kids had been through before, it was hard for me to believe that a judge would even allow her to see them. As of right now she doesn't even contact DH to ask how kids are. I hate it for them but it sure makes me sleep better at night knowing they are not where they can be neglected or hurt.
