So, I just started the minipill a week ago and I have been bloated ever since. I am just under 5'8", and I had gotten down to 150 before the wedding, which is pretty slim for me because I'm really muscular. Well, the minipill is screwing with my weight already. I'm also foggy headed and stuttering pretty constantly, which is not nice considering I work as an instructor of English and I'm supposed to sound like I'm comfortable with the langauge that I teach. :S
I put off coming home as long as I could. I have a very caring staff, offers of going out to late night dinner and just talking and hanging out. My husband had texted me that he needed me home, so I declined and left the clinic.
My husband's escape is sleep. He was asleep when I got here, I have not disturbed him, and I'm not going to.
never done a blog before just know need to talk to people who get it trying not to feel like a mean uncaring person when the dad is doing it toughest.
FIL was a violent jerk when DH was growing up. This is why DH is so against physical punishment. So, FIL has made it his personal pursuit to "cause" DH to cave in and use physical punishment on skids (5 and 2).
Every time FIL visits, he incites the kids to act horrible, gets them to break every rule we have, gets them to pick on each other and hit each other, call each other names, etc. It is nonstop garbage. He will literally talk them into doing something DH just told them not to do. Then, of course, he's totally pleased with himself when DH finally snaps at yells at the boys.
I'm thinking about the word pit right now, as I sit at my desk at my clinic. I like my clinic and my messy desk, they are quite a safe haven at the moment.
Well I have a 22 year old stepdaughter that has an apartment at school about 30 minutes away and yet has been at our house for 2 weeks with her dog. Her boyfriend whom she claims she really didn't like that much because he's just too dumb for her broke up with her and he lives above her at her apartment complex so apparently she has to stay with us now. My husband pays $1000 a month rent for her to live on campus and for her gas to go back and forth.
It seems that in my work environment, there are so few SM's . I felt so alone, not having a common experience with anyone, and then I found this site, I wept with gratitude. I never knew there was a step dynamic, and have held out, trying the same thing over and over, with few results, except a lot of hurt and resentment.".... After I found the site,I ordered Stepmonster, read it cover to cover in 2 days, and thought I was doomed, ......not so !!!! I got up, brushed myself off, disengaged, and went to see my counsellor. I have been so much better since.
Almost always and definitely not rational ones.
She texted me earlier and said she would be here no later than 6 (sd17 and ss13 live with us full time). 6:30 rolls around, the children are waiting by the door like dogs waiting for their masters, and she finally calls.
They will be out of school weds - sun. and she doesn't want to deal with them that long. So by the time fri comes around she will be ready to get rid of them!
Yep just like she never has them on any weekend as they are either here or at her aunts so she just either doesn't want them or can't deal with them!
Yay, she's gone!!! I'm doing a Happy Dance right now!!!
