It's been a peaceful 2 weeks. Despite SD25 univiting Mrs SS from being a bridesmaid and work caca, things have been relatively quiet for us. Until today.

DH loathes voicemail messages. So much so that he had me leave him 19 voicemails that he saved so his phone will only accept one before it's full. Why? Because BioHo can and will (and has) leave 20 voicemails, so we consider this a sort of 'preventative maintenance'. 

OT - Eff Off Friday

Woo hoo! We made it!! Counting the hours 'til the weekend beings. Biggrin

Eff off to:

  • Last minute meetings. On a Friday. At 3pm. Guess who will be taking a long lunch?
  • People who claim they've changed. Sure ya did. For what - 5 minutes? Same ol' hooey. SSDD. Go away.
  • King Pita, the effer who manages to stretch every 30 minute meet to 45 or 60 or longer.

BioHo sucking SD25 back into the fold

If you followed the my blogs about SS21's wedding week, you know a ton of drama ensued (BioHo) and that four of her offspring fled the 'Ho Bungalow for our rental. At that time, SD28 and hubby, SD25 and fiance, SS21 and wife, and SS18 were all on the outs with 'Ho due to her dramatic and drunken behavior.

Happy Friday Eve, STalkers! I don't know about you, but this has been a week of Mondays. Blech! It's chaos out there and I've been reading waaaaaay too much news (cue insomnia as my mind goes into overdrive) so today I'm concentrating on some basics that are all too often taken for granted. I ended up attending SD25's bridal shower. ISH. MIL called and did not want to attend alone. She is darn near 80 and a TERRIBLE driver. Add to that, the shower was being held over an hour away. Oh, happy joy. I called SD28 to ask if she'd like to carpool. YES. Thank goodness, because....

Happy Friday Eve, STalkers! Let's get down to it.

I am thankful for: 

  • My DH. Despite those cranky pants he was sporting last night, he fixed the washing machine.
  • Having a job. With the exception of King Pita, I like my job.
  • People who do jobs in trade for something else. You win; I win. 
  • Culinary creativity. I love taking a hodgepodge of leftovers and creating something new and tasty!

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm hard on myself. Hard? Pfffft; more like downright BRUTAL At some point in my life, I decided that if I'M meaner to me than anyone else, their words won't hurt as much. Instead of talking myself UP, I've been talking myself down. In a way, I'm mentally abusing MYSELF. That is SO jacked up. Who else is a self-abuser??
