O/T Craigslist Flakes (Pet Peeves/Vent)
Wondering if it's just me or if there truly are more Craigslist flakes out there? So much so that I had to make a blurb which I HATED to do. In fact, a flake who stood me up well past 10 p.m. last week had the nerve to text me and ask me if she can get the item today!!! Um, no.

It's Official: Prince Hygiene YSS 12, is "ADHD"
Which I think is more or less due to horrific diet, endless video games, no rest/bedtime structure and no discipline.
When I had this boy for a day (when he was 6), he was a completely different person. He didn't seek constant attention, played independently, behaved himself by the end of a day and exhibited manners. But that was because I had EXPECTATIONS of him, whereas the BM and Chef do not. He KNEW my "no" meant "no."

I Miss Maternity Clothes. . .(vent)
No, not for me; just in general. Call me old fashioned but I prefer the demure, understated look of maternity clothes.
I find today's fashion of wearing skin tight clothes through the entire gestation period vulgar and common. As if to proudly announce to the world: "I GOT KNOCKED UP BY A KNUCKLEDRAGGER!!"
But that's just me.

FINALLY!!!
Took just over SIX MONTHS with two court appearances to recognize (no dispute from the BM) that OSS has been emancipated. OH yes, it was supposed to be a SHHHHHH secret that OSS, just before age 18, moved out of custodial BM's house last August. Oh yes and the BM was ANGRY that Chef knew about this.

O/T New Orleans Trip
Other than the airline experience, New Orleans was great! Very historical; I especially enjoyed the antique gas sconces. And no I did not make the association of being gaslighted.

Both Pumpkinhead (OSS 18.5) and Dominatrix (SD 15.5) posted a clip from Will Smith on Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. A diatribe against Will's non-existent father. And the Girhippo chimes in posting an avatar of a teary face. :barf: :barf:

No Eating in Vehicle Policy. . .Anyone Have One?
My skids are all PASed out. BUT both they and their father are utter SLOBS!! I never allowed my bios to eat in the car but did allow water bottles in cup holders for obvious reasons.
Well when I met up with Chef, it was ANYTHING GOES! Anything to make his "angels" more COMFORTABLE (TM). So to this day I have nightmares of giant cups full of chocolate milk shake upturning onto my upholstery. Stepped on smashed chicken mcnuggets caked into the floor mats. Oh and the fact that they would routinely piss in the car.

OOO-OOOOH That SMELL!!!
Finally put my 2000 Dodge Neon to rest. Then bought a previously enjoyed Suburu 2007 Forester wagon. Which I can't stand the thought of having a station wagon but I need a utilitarian vehicle and there's NO WAY I'll EVER drive a skidmobile again (minivan).
BTW My grown bioson pointed out that we (as a single parent family) NEVER had a minivan the whole time my bios were growing up (as I didn't cater to kids--the two door suburu justy was just fine).

On The "Dreams Of Fame" Topic. . .
Here are the dreams of fame that the Girhippo has/had for her progeny:
1. That Pumpkinhead (OSS 18.5) would be a rock star (kind of hard to do with no musical talent and looking like a cross between Carrot Top and the Pillsbury Dough Boy) I apologize to Carrot Top and the Pillsbury Dough Boy for insulting them. Currently Pumpkinhead is working part time making smoothies on a food truck that is owned by one of his relatives.

How Many Months Does It Take To Get A Downward Mod Signed by the Judge in Upstate NY?
Apparently two months and counting after the final hearing date/decision.
Backstory: The CS "judge" or magistrate is a GOOOOOOD friend of the Girhippo's (BM) as she's a CPS worker and works with this particular magistrate on a daily basis.
He's also retiring and has a young woman protege who will be taking over his duties. She is 1000% golden uterus!
I'm pretty sure though if this was an UPWARD mod, it would have been signed in about two nanoseconds.
Meanwhile, CSEU is harassing Chef's employer daily.
