Kitty is home!

Sweet T's picture

So after a long hot day at the ball park we picked up kitty and brought her home. She had a kennel, the same size as wiener dogs. We brought it up to our room and let them look at each other. Wiener was awesome, sniffed and was super excited. Kitty has our big bathroom and bedroom for now. DH is getting a baby gate tomorrow.

Tomorrow when we are at work wiener will be in her kennel and kitty will have the run of the house so she can explore and get a feel for the place.

I think they will do ok eventually.

Getting ready for kitty

Today we bought a new litter box for our new addition. I know mil will send one home with her but I want one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Kind of cool they now have flap doors. I have filled it with litter and put it in the living room, wiener dog has had zero interest in it.

I am so hoping she will be like she is with my families dogs when they come to visit. She really has no interest and will let them eat from her dish.

Suggestions for introducing dog and cat

So I need ideas for introducing a 7 year old cat to our 9 yr old wiener dog.

My husband's former brother in law is pussy whipped by his new girlfriend. He will now own 3 homes and is moving in with this woman and she is not a cat person. Mil tried taking his 2 cats but 1 of her 2 is not getting along with kitty. New girl friend wants him to take her to a sheltshelter. Poor kitty will be ripped away from her dad and her kitty sister and tossed in a shelter.

Father's Day

I am so excited, my husband's gift has arrived. We got him a signed Reggie Jackson ball! He is going to love it. Bs was so excited when I told him I found one.

Obviously I am ignoring the declaration my ex made about mother's day and fathers day. I believe step parents that are involved in the kids lived deserve to be acknowledged, my house, my rules, my money so suck it.

I will take bs like I do every year to buy his father a gift as well as I always do.

My husband goes the extra mile daily for b.s. and I and we love and appreciate him.

Oh the Irony

Sweet T's picture

So the ex signed on to be an assistant coach, has made a huge deal about it. The Irony is that he is not able to be at every practice or game or is late because he chose to move 45 minutes away or because he makes other plans, but he told the head coach that my husband could fill in for him when he was not there. To date, my husband BS's step dad has been at every practice, clinic and all but 1 Saturday game because he had to work. When ex is there to assistant coach my husband does the score keeping and mans the kids on the bench.

Awesome new job

Last Monday i applied at one of the biggest companies in my state. Friday they called for a phone interview with Hr, they skipped the second phone interview with the 2manager. Yesterday they had me in, I interviewed 3 managers, it went really well. Today they called and made an offer. I have a friend who works there who says this is unheard of..they do not move this fast.

I am so excited!!! The benefits rock and the women I interviewed with have been there between 10 and 25 years. I feel so blessed.

BS9 gave step mom her mother's day gift and other craziness

Sweet T's picture

So, I am making the attempt one more time to interact with my ex husband in a positive manner for BS. I signed him up for little league ( we both agreed to it) I paid for it ( he quit paying his CS at that time so yes I paid for it) and then he volunteered to be an assistant coach... I cringed because he never follows through with anything.
