Over time pay

Sweet T's picture

Do you think that overtime should count in the calculation of CS for an hourly employee? So if one parent is salary and the other parent is hourly should the courts just use the hourly employees base pay verse their pay with overtime as that can vary.

Dreading conference time

Sweet T's picture

I hate conferences as we attend together. My ex and I are going to court next month because he refuses to acknowledge the cs review and because I was stupid and agreed not to go through the state for payment I had to have my attorney file, now he stopped paying period.

We don't speak to each other and only communicate via email or text because he makes things up. It is stressful for me, but I do my best to act like it isn't for bs.

Omg I wish his wife came with to these. He acts normal around her. Not so nasty digs at me.

Kids should not have to worry about this stuff!

So the back story here is that my ex husband is not speaking to his parents right now. He has done this several times in the past but this last incident is a doozy. He is not speaking with anyone but his one brother. I only know this because his parents contacted both BM1 and I and asked if they could see the boys around Christmas. They are very nice people and I always got on well with them. Since the divorce my contact is very minimal as they live in Florida and they are not my family any more.

OT- Cute BS & step dad story

So my BS9 has a pretty good relationship with my husband, they are buddies. My husband is a huge help with BS and really enjoys being a step dad. So they love to watch sports, talk sports, play ball ect... I am thankful because I used to have to do all this and despite working for a sporting goods manufactuer, I am not really into sports.

Why have a decree

Sweet T's picture

In the words of my ex husband... I do not consult a piece of paper to make my decisions.

Today he offered my the opportunity to choose whether I wanted to drop off or pick up or son on Christmas eve ( decree says who ever is getting child does the picking up ). When I said I would stick with picking up he said I could not get son until the end tI me stated but that he would be picking up before time stated. I reminded him of what was stated in the decree but that would be okay and that was his response.

Is this appropriate for a 9 year old

So BS has told me multiple times that since his dad got their new dog a very active 1 year old mini grayhound mix that on Sunday morning while his dad is still in bed ( they are the only two people home as new step mom spends every Saturday night sleeping over at her bestie's house) that he gets up and lets the dog out on a chain. He was telling me that the dog didn't want to come in yesterday so he had to put on his shoes and go out and get her. The live in a townhouse next to an apartment complex.

For all the fur baby moms * Christmas warnings.

So we learned a few lessons this weekend on dogs & chocolate and I want to share. My 9lb wiener dog managed to get up on a table and get down a wooden advent house that weighed about 5lbs. She managed to get open several pull out drawers on it ( something that is not easy to do) and ate about 11 Dove milk chocolate promises.

Things I now know.
1> If your dog is going to eat chocolate, milk chocolate is the least deadly
2> A Dove promise is between .02 & .03 onces
3> Peroxide has an experation date
