Hello everyone I know it has been months since I have been on. Life was crazy busy with the kids and things with the other parents had been relatively calm. Until yesterday, I just don't understand biomom SD had a fever of 104 on Thursday night/friday morning at Midnight she calls us to tell us. She calls and tells us SD had a fever of 103 after school and now she has a fever of 104.3 and she has cool compresses on her and gave her med and was trying to get it down. Ok so she is doing what needs to be done we live 45 min away what does she need us to do??

Not step related but I feel I have friends here that can help shed some light on the situation

Wow where do I start???? Life I just don't understand it my little boy Bryce has fought in this world since the day he was born when is enough enough? He came into this world and was unable to maintain his body temp and had a high white count so he was given an IV in his little arm and put into an incubator to regulate his temp. Then to top it off he loses more weight than he should have so we finally take him home on the condition that we take him to the pediatrician each week to be weighed until his weight gain is consistent. So after about a month he finally starts gaining properly.

Ok girls (and guys if you are still out there) here is the situation. DH is out of town for work, I know that is nothing new he is always out of town it sucks, anyway this weekend is our weekend for SD and DH may not be home we are not sure yet. Well SD and I are suppose to go to a baby shower for DH cousin on Sat.

Things are going so good it is scarey

I just can't beleive it mut BM called me Wed night yea I said that right she calledme not DH but me!! She wanted our mailing address for school paper work (school started on Monday)ok no problem, she was nice actually told me what SD6 was doing at the moment (she was practing something new she had learned in gym class) and how funny it was and to just wait until she does it at our house this weekend. OMG did i just have an actual conversation with her.

Why are some BM like they are????

What is it with Bio parents that they never communicate unless they want something? I try to let my ex know everthing that is going on with my kids from Dr apts to school functions yet DH ex never lets us know anything for instance today SD6 had an appointment with the heart Dr (she has a problem since she was born and goes once a year) but BM never let us know about it. We found out because DH parents were suppose to have SD6 for the day and her mom called and told them she forgot SD6 had an appointment and asked if they wanted her Thursday instead.

OMG BB called me!!!! (kinda long)

I can't belive it actually I almost fainted. I willstart at the begining we get SD6 everyother week in the summer so DH picked her up on Friday and everything was fine until bedtime on Sunday she started crying (I have noticed this getting more frequent when she has to go to bed or do something she doesn't want to do) I let her dad deal with her I was getting BS6 in bed. So he lets her call her Mom because that is what she says is wrong she misses her mom, so no big deal call her and all is better (hey I am a bio mom to so I understand homesick) Anywya she calms down and goes off to bed.

Curtain Rods (very funny sure wish I could've done this)

CURTAIN RODS

She spent the first day packing her belongings into boxes, crates and suitcases.

On the second day, she had the movers come and collect her things.

On the third day, she sat down for the last time at their beautiful dining room table by candle-light, put on some soft background music, and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar, and a bottle of spring-water.

When she had finished, she went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimp shells dipped in caviar into the hollow of the curtain rods.
