Spending the night
Im not sure we will be doing another one when my son is here.
Ss13 invited a friend over sunday night. We had another couple over for crabs, and had a little cookout.
It was ok till bs8 had to show his ass! I get it he wanted to hang with them, but yelling at them- trying to take things they wanted from them- does not make you friends.
I had to have a stern talk, about you cant force friends, and that the kid was not there for him. I tried to get him a little friend it just did not workout.

Husband wont let me sleep.
We were together most of yesterday.
He wanted to go fishing, cool no prob.
I tried to set it up so it was just us, did not work out baby girl had to come with us, no prob, its me that has to watch and entertain her on the boat.
Now there was some wishy washy ness on his part the night before, because i have to pick my son up on fridays. My son is about 2hrs away, so its either fish by him, or fish by us and then drive down to get him.

Im annoyed- nothing new with this fam!!
There is a carnival in town, it ends tomorrow. MIL pisses me off- she takes ss and his cousin to the carnival tonight.
We planned on going tomorrow-buutt she decided to go back to work-so she works tomorrow- does not care about other kids involved... nope... i picked up my son today so i was on the road till 7pm, dh worked outside all day so he did not want to go tonight either.
Ss is going to get TWO days at the carnival.

Updates on my rollercoaster life!
Welp good news first- moms club has new members- someold members left- so there has been a shift in the mom circles!!
The one mom i gravitated towards well we have ALOT in common!# its nice having that.
I talked to ss therapist about the name stuff- i hope she can get him to talk in a non-defenisive way- then we can have a family session with her. I told her no rush though. Just see how he feels, and we will go from there.

Whats in a name?
I am not a stickler for ss13 calling me mom or stepmom, but im starting to get annoyed. I cant mention it to dh yet, because one i do not want him forcing ss to call me step mom or mom, also id like a plan.
Ok ss has been trying just to call me by my first name. I like Ms.lady...i like the miss part, one because im an adult and i dont think he should just call me by my first name.
Two he has problems with adult/ friend boundries- dh messed him up on that by being a friend. So i dont want him just calling me by my first name.

Where do i fit in?
Im making a huge effort with this momsclub. Im trying very hard to be open. I just feel like im not making great connections. Im sticking with it till summer, then i think i might find a new group. Maybe make my own group.
Alot of ladies go to the same church- i am not a church goer.
Some are very athletic, a few are super skinny.
Then there are a few large moms.
Even out of the group i always feel stuck in the middle.

Ugh
Why does ss13 have to be so annoying?
I try to be patient with all his question asking(most of it is attention question asking), but i get so tired of him not thinking for his self!
He has his first baseball practice today.
I told him yesterday to kind of get ready.
Baseball- you need hat, athletic pant, cleats, and his baseball glove.
Since ss is a weirdo and HAS TO WEAR HIS BASEBALL PANTS (the ones for games), he "cant" find them. He was supposed to "find" them yesterday. So he comes out this morning.

I think im coming to a place where i need to
To stop enabling-
Dh just does not realize how stressful HE is being!
Over the summer dh started drinking again, this is after not drinking since ss was born. He was drinking just a few on the weekends. It has increased more after his grandma passed and now his moms issues.

Caught ss
Ss13 got out of school 2hrs early today...he did his normal hangout. Comes home and says "i have no HW, can i go ride my bike?"
Im like sure no problem.
But i had this "momsense"- its weird of him not to mention WHO he is meeting up with, usually he busts out some names on his own. So i go to the front door look out and there is a young lady sitting on her bike waiting for him. So like any mom, i open door, hi hello whats your name?
Lol
Her im S. I go to school with ss.
Lol ss13 is all yeah, we walk together sometimes...

Mood is not great here.
Dhs mother had a lung transplant, about two years ago, she went in the hospital last weekend for headaches, but its more serious than that.
First they were talking to her about her body rejecting the lungs, then it was some infection they were telling her they could hopfully clear up. Then last night they lay out its cancer, today she finds out more, i think dh is going to visit her today. Not sure though.
