Feral Forger SD21 and I

yesterday I took a personal day.

And took Feral Forger SD21 out for a burger.

I had reached out and we sort of chatted the night before so I though "what the heck its a bit of closure and healing".

I picked her up and she had bathed, but her nails were chipped, her skin super bumpy, she looked pale and out of it (but not as out of it as Christmas!)

I took her texted order, prepaid and picked her up after locking my purse in the trunk.

As an addendum to my previous blog "Twisted Vines", I wanted to add the wonderfulness of the whole Toxic Troll wants half our child tax credit and NOW half our child stimulus payment.

Revealing note: I filed taxes Feb 15. No refund as of yet. No info on refund tracking. DH has received numerous texts asking for "her half".

So, things have been quiet in Toxic Troll world with Feral Forger SD21  sort of being nice and normal. Until Munchkin SD14 comes to our house for her weekly vistation. Munchkin is a buffer between the two, and when its just them, things always blow up eventually. Because they are twins. Feral Forger is Toxic Trolls not-so-mini-me.

First off, I have taken advice to heart. But still need a vent sesh with you all to unleash that beast that wants to yell and gnash teeth.

As a Step parent with no bios of my own, I found this EXTREMELY interesting. All the stuff that I see step parents having extreme issues with, completely laid out, but with actual solutions and reasonings.

Munchkin wants 10 day blocks

Just the past week, Toxic Troll Bm has been asking DH to change our visitation schedule becaus "this is what munchkin wants". She wants to go from week on/week off (easier to keep track of, better for her schooling) to 10 day incremements.

Dh told her "no". She keeps asking.

Munchkin SD14 hasnt mentioned it during this week and weekend, not a peep.

Took advice given

Well, things have been super crazy at work, intense and stressful.

Munchkin had asked that I "help keep her on track" ie: nag her to do her assignments semester #2. I said ok. Dh had been sent a text from Toxic Troll BM "tell cLove Thanks for helping SD14 with her school'. Dh was appreciative of my time spent.

Now, here we are a month and a week into semester #2. Half A's, and Half C's. Because missing assignments.

So, I did something that everyone told me "nooooooo dont dooooooo iiiiiiiitttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I did Feral Forger SD21's tax return. Friends, I know. Please Aniki bonk me over the head or something.

She was very appreciative, but not apprecative enough to want to pay me or get me something nice. Noooooooooopppppppeeeee.

But Im starting at the end of things.

She texted "I want half of child tax credit and I know its $3,000"

Then...wait for it ..."thank you and cLove for helping Munchkin with her school, Ive just been SO busy with my ISSUES and with Feral Forger, I havent had much time"...

Petty I know - change in visitation schedule

Ugh, yes I know this is very petty, but it gets to the heart of something that creates conflict in our steplives - not being involved in decisions that affect us or even dont affect us in any discernable way.

I commented in a facebook group in response to a post someone made about things that bother us about BM making changes to the schedule at whim. It made me look at something I dont really like thinking about. Why does it bother me so much that Munchkin SD14 wants to change the schedule from Monday-Monday to Wed-Wed?
