My DH does not like communicating with bio mom. For 1. He can't stand her 2. She doesn't communicate things to him & 3. He forgets & 4. Quite obviously he us a typical man who just doesn't think about communicating things. On occasion, I think 3 times in 4 years I have texted bio mom from DH phone to let her know about a situation. Before you say, NO COMMUNICATION IS NEEDED... The communication has to happen because a court appointed counselor is involved & says so. So I told him, I have no problem texting bio mom from his phone when something needs to be communicated.

That's the sound of shit hitting the fan.

Okay I'm officially mad. Not mad. Mad. But right now mad.

History. Bio mom at a meeting with her husband, me & DH (when we were first married) said AND I am going to quote the ef'n bitch "I WOULD LIKE PHONE CALLS INSTEAD OF TEXTS BECAUSE I MISS HEARING YOUR VOICE." Not that things can be misunderstood in text. NO. she misses hearing his voice. (Not the first or last thing she has said about missing my DH)

I'm thinking about going to a buffet for thanksgiving dinner. I'm so tired. Sick and damn tired of DH family!!! If ever I'm the reason someone wants to go to a buffet, instead of a holiday family meal, I have somehow failed. Who is feeling this? Holy crap. Holidays bring out the crazy in people.

I'm not getting any taller.

In our home we have a corner where pretty much any guest, family member- whoever is over gets measured & their name & date is written, marking their height. My skid keeps rubbing me off the ephin' wall. It's not something I go looking for or notice... But every time someone asks to be measured or a new guest asks to be put on, low & behold they'll ask "where are you?" Um. I'm not there. Then DH comes & puts me on, in sharpie. This has happened about 10 or more times! Also my kids get boogers wiped next to their names! Are you friggin' kidding me kid?!

My MIL is completely disrespectful & pushy & inappropriate. I have a problem with 98% of the things she does & says. Frankly that 2% might not be accurate. Bleh. After a week of over-the-top ill behavior I had been pushed too far & requested my DH & I sit down with her. I also requested DH dad, her husband, be there also. We set out a list of basic boundaries, bc she obviously doesn't know how to act. My DH was offended by her behavior, but honestly he would continue to allow it if I wouldn't have had a breakdown over it. He has over 40 years dealing with her.

I'm thinking COAL!!!!

Going to make this quick.

If a teenager has not returned texts, answered calls & only agreed to see you one time in a year... Because a really bad decision was made to let the teen choose when to see a parent, WOULD YOU BUY THEM A CHRISTMAS GIFT?

When it was birthday time, teen was told by DH he would pick him up to go to dinner & buy him an expensive item for sports that needed to be custom fit. He declined the invitation. So nothing was given.
