SO & I took the Skids, by train, to Chicago. SO’s extended family are there & he hadn’t been back to visit in 12 years. None of SO’s X’s have met his family…BM Redneck thought it was “too far north” & Nasty thought her family was FAR more important than SO’s. They all seemed to like me just fine & had opinions of the BM’s which I found HYSTERICAL, so that part of it was excellent.

The SKids tried to contact Nasty

I haven’t posted anything in ages…been busy with school & turdly SS. Such is life I suppose. I figured I’d update the latest BM Nasty selfishness episode.

SS9 recently made a comment that Nasty hadn’t spoken to them in ages. I told him that I was sorry & that she must be busy (YEAH RIGHT!) but that he was more than welcome to text or call her if he felt like it.

This morning, I was helping the Skids make SO breakfast & they decided to text Nasty. It went like this…

With the behavioral issues that SS9 has been having since SEPTEMBER, I know it has something to do with the fact that his BM (Nasty) is a POS. Since September, the following things have happened.

1. Nasty sent SD money on SS’s birthday (in September)…confused the CRAP out of him. She did also send SS money on SD’s birthday, so I suppose they’re even.

2. Nasty, once again told the Skids (in October) that she will NOT be taking them to Disney after having promised to do so for the second year in a row.

Sick day while grounded from the TV...I'm looking for advice

My SS9 has been atrocious both at school & at home. He has had at least 3 conduct marks per week & has been grounded from the TV & all electronics for what seems like FOREVER. He's had behavioral issues going on since SEPTEMBER...just to give you all an idea of how ridiculous things have gotten.

He has gained back TV a couple of times but always loses it within a day or two of watching it due to yet more conduct marks or him having a blatant disregard for simple house rules.

So I was with MIL & co from Friday-Sunday & was not home. When I came back last night, SO tells me that BM Nasty has been talking to the Skids constantly…I think “OK, guess she’s bored” & moved on. Well…he tells me about a Skype moment & I thought I’d share…this is how SO said it went down…

After not having skyped with the SKids for over 3 months, Nasty decided that she wanted “quality skype time”. They were finally able to talk to their BM for more than an hour.

For anyone reading that hasn’t read my past blogs, http://steptalk.org/node/43463 is the conversation that Nasty had with the Skids the first time she decided that she wasn’t going to take them to Disney, after having promising that she would.

So we have an interesting development with SD16 & Nasty

Teenagers LOVE the BM who acts nothing like a mother but a friend…even if it’s an evil SM from days past.

We have not seen SD16 since YSD’s birthday party in July. SO has talked to her a number of times but all of the conversations pertain to SD16’s BM (Redneck) insisting that SO pay 100% for her braces, she wants money for A, B & C, or SO is nothing but a crap heap.

She has visited twice since November of last year & each of her visits brought drama due to stories she told which were all made up…mostly about me, but whatever.
