As Predicted, the Girhippo Got YSS labeled "Learning Disabled--Other" Just As She did SD

Received the report in the mail that YSS 14.5 is officially "learning disabled--other" as a smokescreen for the Gir's free ranging style of BFF "parenting." When YSS was with us he had what we used to call "boy energy" when not zombified in front of the television/screens for hours on end.

This labeling visibly upset Chef as YSS was the "apple of his eye" for the longest time. Yeah he had behavior problems but that was due to a lack of rules and enforcement thereof.

Namely those dominated by males, do you often get talked down to or the person on the other end of the phone assumes you are the "secretary?"

Now I can understand this with older males and possibly older females, but I just talked to a most likely 40 something male who told me if I could "scope out someone geeky to help me."

As though I were a receptionist calling to make an inquiry about an IT equipment purchase.

Hooray!! SD 18.5 "Graduates" HS with a D Average!

Hats off to underachieving mediocrity!!! Guess they weren't going to force her to take her eighth straight year of summer school.

And now on to remedial community college where she will inevitably perpetually fail and drop out; thusly allowing the Girhippo to continue milking the CS cash cow until at least 21. And no, SD will not be living on or off campus--she will be making that 20 minute drive to community college.
