Vent:I'm just going to put this here..

SS19 is the most idiotic idiot of all ignorant idiots that ever lived. He cannot produce a sensible thought, cannot understand simple explanations or make correct logical thought. But, he knows it all, the smirking idiot.

P. S. I cannot say it so I'm just venting It here. Thank you and hope you had a peaceful Easter.

Totally OT oh hair where art thou?

MoominMama's picture

I have been growing out a very bad cut I had 6 months ago that was lopsided and left a heavy chunk on one side.

My hair is medium long. I have a new hairdresser and during the first appt we discussed what to do and she said it would take at least two appts to get things back on track. Ok, so she trimmed it and it was looking a bit better. I had to let it grow 3 months and made another appointment.

How much shampoo

MoominMama's picture

It's trivial I know, but can you guys give me some perspective on this

SS 19 gets through a 280ml bottle of shampoo in under 2 weeks. He has very short hair and I think he washes it 2/3 times a week.

DH thinks it's too much, what do you think? SS has a history of using a lot of products, shower creme etc.

I removed my conditioner and keep it all in our bedroom now as it was going down really fast and I suspect he as using it for uknowwhat. *wacko*.

CS Incorrect

MoominMama's picture

So, BM had to start paying CS to DH back in January after SD23 startedwork. Whole load of nasty phone calls drama etc..

The CO says that the CS has to indexed (rises according to an inflation index the government issues yearly). There is a set percentage a year that it goes up. This does not cover the fact that at 18 his clothes cost 3 times what they did at 8 years old, this deals purely with the rise in inflation.

O/T (mostly) Opting out

MoominMama's picture

This weekend on Saturday (being 1st Sept)  DH and of course the cling on SS18 will be driving a four hour round trip in one day to attend a birthday barbecue for DH's father. His birthday was actually on august 8th but as grandchildren were busy with music festivals it all had to be put off for almost a month. I know I'm a nag and miserable but I cannot understand why they couldn't have just left it for this year.. but that's their business.

Figuring it out

MoominMama's picture

Well SS has gone straight back into his usual behaviours. This morning we were going out and as he had come back from camp with a load of washing plus his gear for camping etc to put away I told him to get his washing on and put all the gear back into the attic.

ID

MoominMama's picture

SS18 has a months student work at a DIY store - that's good. He gets up, does the work and it seems to be fine. The only thing that is getting me right now (the break from him in the day is wonderful ) is that for 3 days running I have noticed that his ID card and wallet are lying on his bedside cabinet. It is illegal in this country to be anywhere without your ID, he has been told and it has always been made clear to him. But the thing lays there.... it will be a 50 euro fine if he gets asks to produce it, that's the first time and if it happens again he will be in more trouble.

Why we can't throw him out (long)

MoominMama's picture

Warning: this is long. I felt I needed to explain a few things after I found that I was getting the response of 'throw him out' quite a lot on here. Hope this explains it.

A lot of people on ST, and quite rightly so, are replying , 'throw him out' about my SS18. I agree with this sentiment and so does DH after the stunts he pulls BUT our hands are tied to a certain degree and this is why:-
