Sound Familiar? It does to me.

The mother doesn't watch her children. Assuming mom is sleeping all day while her 3 1/2 yr old and 2 yr old play outside all day. Usually the little 2 year old boy has a diaper on that is so full it's falling down or no clothes on at all-but wears shoes :? The little 3 year old girl likes to pull off her pants and panties and run around the yard. The girl screams through my fence to my BS4 and DD7 to "COME HERE!!!!!!!!!" all day long.

Are your step children greedy?

SD is a very greedy child. She has so many things hidden away in a box under her bed. For whatever reason, she hides everything. Some of the things she has just "claimed" as hers. Things like pens that she has found around the house that aren't hers and other things I can't think of right now. She has tons of chap stick that she hoards, but won't use and won't let anyone touch them. She has bubbles from a year ago that she won't use, but won't throw away. About a week ago, DH and I used a water bottle we found in the cupboard.

So ridiculous, but irritating and almost funny

So, a few weeks ago DH and I were grocery shopping with DD7 and DS4. I remembered DD needed a drink container for lunches at school. We get a her decently nice one since the cheap "juice box" lookin' ones we got last year leaked. We told her we'll save it for school and only school and not to use it before.

Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has taken time out of their busy day to comment, encourage, criticize, offer support and ideas on my blogs/rants. It has helped so much. I am so glad I found this site. I never knew how much it would help when I stumbled across it. You guys have been there when no one else could possibly understand.

Thank you!

Called SD11 out and put her in her place on a certain subject. Earth shattering event(Sarcasm)

Yesterday afternoon SD11, DS4, and DD7 were playing house or something like that and I heard SD tell DD that she couldn't do something or another because SD had already "claimed" their bedroom as hers. DS had his room and I heard DD ask SD if she could play in the room during their game and SD tells her no. Then SD goes into DS's room and DD comes in there and I hear SD11 say that DD couldn't be in there either because it was already taken. I see that DD's feelings are hurt and I pull her to the side and tell her that she doesn't have to play the game and she can do something else.

Does anyone else deal with skids who want pity?

Yesterday evening everyone was playing out in the back yard and SD11 tripped and hit her foot on the bottom of our swing set. Immediately, it seems to be "touch and go" and the end of the world. She refuses to even try to walk on it and we put an ice pack on it. This morning she was still refusing to walk on it and says it hurts soooo bad. I make an appointment and we get seen at noon today.
