taking my frustration out on Cadbury Mini-Eggs-OT

My brother just called me in a panic because he is getting released from the hospital TODAY....and grandma/grandpa went out of town yesterday morning and aren't sure they left him a house key. (how does he not have a house key living there as long as he has?) 

So...I am now waiting for him to call me back..

.I have to beg my boss to let me leave work early to go and get him, and he's probably going to be staying with us until the grandparent's get back.

lazy means gifted now?

 SS had homework yesterday, dh was "helping" him again. (no not a book report again, thank god)

Dh was helping ss with a question, when ss went to write the answer down, dh made him erase it and re-write it saying "come on bud, why are you rushing through this? You can barely read your answer you have to slow down when you write". 

ss "I juss want to get it done so we can pway" (arrrg...again with the 'pway'/play, 'dwink'/drink, 'juss'/just, etc *dash1*)

dh "are you bored? Is that it? regular school is boring you, do you need to go to a harder school?"

when DH and ss try to "help" with chores....

Have you guys ever noticed that you do something by yourself for so long...when others try to do it, it becomes a complete mess?

I have been on a "dishes strike" for about a week...it used to be because I got home from work about an hour earlier than dh, I would do all the dishes and after they would dry i would put them away later that night.  We don't have a dishwasher, and luckily our sink is not that big so it's hard to ignore the dishes without not being able to use the kitchen.

Dh emailed the paper to BM. I don't know if he emailed it to the teacher now, not sure if he had the email address. SIL finally calls after 8p.m. and agrees to print the paper when home and drop it off in the mailbox. Dh instructs ss to look in the mailbox before school. Apparently a big lecture was given on the way home regarding responsibility.

Ffwd to this afternoon...all heck broke loose....SIL dropped off the paper in OUR mailbox...not BM house. 

When a 34 y/o does a 10.5 y/o homework...again.

Omg here we go again. Ss had a book report to do. He's had over a week to do it, meaning 6 days with mom to do it and 4 days with dad.

Rewind: Dh ASKED ss on Saturday if he had homework. Ss said NO. I told dh to check his planner because he has to sign it anyway. He doesnt.

Exactly 1 hour before drop off time Sunday...BM texts dh and tells him about book report. Dh blows a fuse..ss starts working on it..gets dropped off its not done.

No backup for sm?

MIL is over...its past 10 p.m. we just finished watching Ragnarock/Thor. I made dinner for all as it was past 730 and DH was on his stupid tablet. We watched another show, ss grabbed a blanket from his room and was starting to fall asleep on the couch. I said "hey buddy...its getting late..can you please brush your teeth so you can go to bed?" 10 minutes go by, I get up to get a drink and hear dh repeat "hey bud..what did imlosingit ask you to do? Come on"

It's visitation weekend

We are grilling

Ss and I are breaking ice on the driveway and laughing

We are having SO MUCH FUN AS A "FAMILY"

It's amazing

And I'm crushed

And all I can think about

Is if he met ME first

Ss would be "ours"

All I feel is loathing....and regret...and sadness

I hate myself

There will never be a "US" baby

I'm slowly dying inside every visitation

Why do I even try!!!! I'm lonely

Rant.

Dh lost his phone last Thursday. He was late for drop off(again)...slipped on a snowbank helping ss get out of the vehicle...and didn't realize his phone was gone until he got home. 

Today is standard monday visitation. Dh picked up ss and went and bought himself a new phone with a new provider.  Nm the fact that he is 3 months behind on his portion of utilities. Among other things he owes.

OT-finally put my foot down with family

I received a 0.23 cent raise at my last review.  Normally I would be happy with that, but at the bottom of the paper was where I am at compared to the tier top pay with my company.  I am barely over the line for median wage.  I worked so much overtime since starting with this company that I didn't realise what my regular pay is on an annual basis.
