DH turned a major money issue into a SS+me issue
I'm going to try to keep this as "to the point" as possible, so if something doesn't make sense please ask. I warn you this is a little long, because a LOT of things have snowballed into the end result.
DH and I purchased a house in July. We found a home we could afford and with current utilities (not sure how winter will go) it is only costing us $70 more/month to live in a house vs our two bedroom apartment.
I have been having financial problems with DH since day one.

OT-and it just continues-vent
So the apartment that we lived in for two years has been through 5 management companies since we signed our first lease. The first management company the owners sold the apartments while we were still living there and the new owners made us all sign new leases. It was the middle of winter so it would have been almost impossible to find an available rental on such short notice as they conveniently did this a week before the end of the month.(they said we could have 1 week to vacate if we chose to) We were unsure but signed again because we had nowhere else to go.

somehow it's always my fault
BM deliberately scheduled ss school conferences without talking to DH and made them for 10a.m. today. This means dh has to miss half a day of work. She also conveniently scheduled a dr appointment for the same day so she could spend half the day with DH and go out to lunch "as a family". She does this every year and it drives me insane. No regard to co-parenting. I made the mistake of bringing this up to Dh about how she needs to include him in these decisions instead of just texting him and expecting him to "jump". She's been doing this for years.

I hate when I think how much easier my life would be if SS didn't exist
I'm sorry but I HATE the court system. They pull numbers out of their a$$ based on income and take NOTHING into consideration. Example: Oh you don't get off work daily until 330pm? Great! Lets make your scheduled pick up time with your child 3pm. You can lose the money having to leave an hour and 15 minutes early every time you have to get him! It's just a job. Your boss will understand. NO YOUR BOSS DOESN'T HAVE TO UNDERSTAND BECAUSE YOUR COWORKERS HAVE KIDS TOO BUT THEY DON'T GET TO LEAVE EARLY THREE DAYS A WEEK BECAUSE OF IT.
