Just so you know I am STILL disengaged, last night will not effect my general involvement...

So it's my birthday on Saturday and SDs won't be with us (rarely will due to their schedules).
SD12 got a bug in her bonnet that she HAD to talk with DP, RIGHT AWAY.
Then she asked me a little while later what I wanted for my birthday. Knowing this would be coming from DP, I let her know. She RAN to DP.

First complete D weekend...

Went pretty well actually.
Disengagement was good!

DP wanted me to meet him for dinner out Friday but I had a busy day at work and just wanted a shower and my PJs, luckily he thought it was funny I turned down a date with him. Watched a movie of my choice, which the SDs liked as well (didn't invite them but they watched it with no complaints).

Disengagement full on day 1:

I posted this on another blog but here's it...totally disengaged. Yesterday was the first day of complete disengagement from everything.

* I didn't say one word to SD12.

* SD9 very nicely asked if I could help her with a homework question (DP was actually helping her with her homework but couldn't figure this one out). So I helped her work it out, then sent her back to DP.

So SD9s friend (TF) had a sleepover at BMs this weekend. My good friend is TFs mom.
We had a little chat yesterday because she wanted me to know what happened. Apparently the SDs got in a huge, huge fight which disturbed TF.

Here's what happened: SD12 sold SD9s American Girl doll. SD9 couldn't find it, found out it was gone. Fight. SD12 then agreed to give SD9 her (no longer used) AG doll. All good. Then Sunday morning SD12 wants the doll back. SD9 refuses and all hell breaks loose. Apparently BM knew nothing about any of this until Sunday.

I'm not feeling well tonight so I'll say that first. I got home, finished DPs dishes to be nice then finished laundry. Then I find that SD9 and her friend cut up a bunch of her tshirts and socks. So I simply got rid of all of it. Then I see that SD12 hasn't moved her stuff that's sitting outside her room. I leave it. Then upstairs I see her lunch bag, sitting AGAIN in front of the fireplace in the living room. If it had been In the kitchen I probably wouldn't have chucked it down the front stairs because it was the last straw.

Movie Request...really?!

So SD12 asked DP to get movie tickets for her and asked me to take her to see it.
I'm going to talk with DP and tell him, NO - HE can take her. She's done NOTHING to deserve it from me at all, nothing.

1) Took my stuff from laundry room, lied about it. So now I'm locking some of my things up in my own house. DP did nothing about it, even used the same excuse he did with the broken kitchen drawers...

2) Borrowed some of my stuff (with my permission) but did not put it back and damaged it. This is going to be locked up from now on.

So I am doing some painting and general house repair this weekend. I go to my household repair cabinet and get some things, noting that good! I have that (pink) duct tape which is perfect for something. I do one project then go to get the tape. It's gone.

I tell DP because he Asked me to tell him if things weren't right since drawer incident.
He asked SDs if they took in. Why no they don't have it. Then of course he asked me am I sure I saw it, effin-a yes DP, I was going to use it for something. So I let it go. And moved the rest of the tape higher up.

No more dinner!

As of yesterday I will no longer make dinner when SDs are with us.

DP got a little annoyed last night because I did not make sure SD12 had dinner. We had earlier mutually agreed she was NOT sick after staying home from school for a couple days. She only ate snack food and stayed in bed and used her electronics ... Which DP knows now is a problem but does nothing so I say nothing.
