So, after years and years of being the person on the other side of applying for jobs - ie the person sending out resumes and cover letters and showing up nervous to interviews, I now find myself on the hiring side. I work as a full time permanent admin for a CPA, and we need a full-time temp for assembling tax returns. We do not need an accounting/tax genius, we need fast, smart, and friendly. Team player, who works well under pressure, that kind of thing.

Its just stuff, right? I tell this to myself, a number of times. So why exactly do I feel like TBM (Toxic BM) has reached inside me and ripped my heart out, yet again?

Last night, before a Tuesday night gathering my friends have at an oceanside resort, I was quickly informed when I stepped inside the house that the round mirror currently hanging over my mantle has been requested, no, demanded, by TBM. Greetings! I found this board over a year ago. My blogs tell the story, so often reflected in others here, of a guilty disney dad, with a demanding, agressive toxic ex and a mirror in the eldest. WEll, I am here to tell you that it CAN get better. It will take work, patience, writing it out here, support where you can find it, and some tears, but everything will turn out in one of two ways:
1. You stay with your person and the skids move away and things get better.

The new job has been moving slowly as my boss has been in and out of the hospital. Water on the lungs, but they cannot find the cause. Other than that, everyone is REALLY nice, and its great to have nice folks to talk to. I was in a windowless office for a year at my previous job, and had no human interaction except for the person I bought lunch from.
