Co-Worker Still Not Out Yet.. .
What a difference from the private sector where you get a box and 15 minutes to get out. She's leisurely shredding stuff, going back and forth between insulting me and asking if I want a set of FLOPPY DISKS with Windows NT on them!
She has a list of demands before she officially moves:
1. keep all the access that is associated with the 'handsome men in uniform' dept
(nope, boss took that away on Friday)

O/T Co-worker Would Have Made A Great Psycho BM!
Some things she said today:
1. "Kyle and I were just fine and worked together well until he got remarried" (implying that Kyle "changed" when he got remarried, i.e. didn't do her bidding)
2. "I don't know why YOUR workload is so much lighter than mine and the Sloth's. Is that because they are getting ready to promote you? No offense to you." (actuallly I'm EFFICIENT at my job and that makes the difference)
3. "Everyone thinks that new manager is awful"

Update: O/T Co-Worker WILL Go Ballistic! WOOO WEEEE!!
She is MADDER than a WET HEN!!
She came storming up to the 2nd floor where we share an office, she flew in the door of her ex and said "THANK YOU KYLE!" and just as I was summoned downstairs to have the "change" formally announced, she said out loudly in the hallway "THANK YOU THINKTHRICE!" (but not to my face as she caught me heading downstairs)
I went downstairs for the formal announcement. They told me I don't have to go back upstairs if I don't want to. I said, meh, I still have work to do. So about 20 minutes later I went back upstairs to stoney silence.
Update on Downward Mod
New attorney looked through Chef's stuff and could see that he was basically being overcharged for a HELL of a long time. Talk of "gravy train" from both Chef and the new attorney.
The BM did drag out her pathetic attorney to try to keep the CS UP after cutting loose the daycare expenses. She did admit that OSS18 is out of the household.

O/T Co-Worker WILL Go Ballistic!
Backstory: I have a co-worker who was once married to the guy across the hall. She is a "lifer" and so is he. Meaning they have worked here DECADES! When she first started here she was the young hottie data entry gal. Said guy married her and spoon fed her higher level computer stuff until she got a promotion to her current title today.

Today Chef Goes To Court For Downward Mod
And I have a feeling, very little will be accomplished. And why is that?
1. The new attorney that I hand picked for Chef saw Chef's belligerent side and pretty much threw Chef out of his office on their first consultation.
2. Chef has a terrible fear of confronting the BM. He'll do anything and pay any amount of money to her so that he doesn't have to face her ever again. . .including tapping my pay indirectly to do so.

O/T I'm Buying A Rental House (And Hope Eventually Chef Will Move Into It)
I've mentioned to Chef that I want to buy a rental house purely for the tax deduction factor. He gets POUNDED with taxes every year because he has been keeping his tax contributions artificially low JUST so he can have a PITTANCE left over after CS is taken out.
He has no healthcare and any Obamacare plan would wipe out his takehome pay, which he would NOT stand for (need $$ for booze, fancy food, etc.)
How Can You Seriously Point Out Flaws In Others (Speck vs. Log Parable in Action)
So coming home from an NFL game on Sunday, Chef started scrambling for his keys. This is a guy who leaves the keys in the ignition and notoriously HATES all locked doors because he was raised out in the sticks.
He searched for a good ten minutes or so and had everyone else involved in the hunt. He also makes major purchases without asking me--you'll see where I'm going with this.
So this morning, his co-worker who is a dispatcher for the most part texted Chef that her "dickhead boyfriend purchased an SUV without consulting her and now cannot find keys to said vehicle."
What's Up With Allowing Your Kid To Have SLEEPOVERS on SCHOOL NIGHTS?
Not sure if this is a "modern" trend, but I swear that ALL of the skids (well the two that are left at home 16 and stb 12) are allowed to have multiple sleepovers at friend's houses during the school week.
This despite the horrific grades and attendance records they have. WTF? In my day we RARELY had sleepovers at friends houses on the weekENDS, never mind school nights!!! SD16 practically LIVES at other kids houses all throughout the week. And I must add that this has been going on for YEARS!!
Baby's First Detention
YSS stb 12 just got his first two day detention (that I know about) for blowing off his science and math homework. I see he's following in the footsteps of his older siblings and why shouldn't he when neither the BM nor Chef EVER made their kids do ANYTHING that they didn't WANT to do.
The note said that they had a CONFERENCE (the "talking to" TM) with YSS (and not the BM)
They CALLED the BM and left a VOICE MAIL message so obviously, because there was no note of BM being at the "conference" it wasn't a concern of hers.
