have a question about birthday.

I bought my son a car for his 16th and he does not have his license yet so I drove his car for a while. However while I was driving it it broke down so bad that it is toast. I feel I owe him another car.

I did get another car but it is twice as good as the original car.

So my question is this should he get this car to replace the other car for is 17th bday or should I still get him something for his 17th?

The Update:

Bm texted and said that ss15 was going with them to the competition so dh doesn't have to worry about picking him up. Dh said he wants to text her back saying "what ever it takes to keep them away from me"

Can we say she still is trying to make it look like dh is a dead beat dad and she does EVERYTHING with NO help!? Thins woman makes me sick! :sick:

IO guess i should add that ss15 already missed mon. and now he is going to miss fri as well just b/c bm refuses to let dh pick him up on fri.

Kinda O/T but it is about my ex!

My ex H has been writing our son and he has been telling him to tell me that he loves me. My son will not respond to that. then ex h has his sister contacting me on FB and telling me that he loves me.

W#hat should i do and how should I handle this? I have told his sister that he needs to stop and he needs to stop telling my son to tell me too b/c that should be between them.

I am really getting uncomfortable with him trying to get the mess to me that he still loves me. We have been divorced for 16 years.

There was a girl on there that told Dr Phil that he has to find her a job. He looked at her and said "I'm not getting you a job that is not my job, I don't owe you a damn thing" I was LMAO!

That is how young people think today and the product of parents being a friend instead of a parent. Also that they put their kids so high up that they think they have to do everything for them. Which in turn make the kids think they the world owes them!

I was talking to dh on the phone yesterday and was getting very upset b/c I was looking for my phone and couldn't find it! Dh said why are you upset. I told him I couldn't find my phone and he started laughing all the while I was very annoyed with him b/c he is laughing at me. He said hon you are talking to me on your phone! oops! blushing Blum 3

Bm is annoying!

SS15 is in football and he called to tell dh that they are doing a fund raiser. It is where the kid sends a letter asking for a donation and to send it back to the school. Dh said sure I'll give $20. Then he gets a text form bm saying "That was the best $30 I ever spent and thanks for your $20."

Geez really? I mean who care if you gave more. Good for you that you gave more. :sick:

First I'm so relieved Second I ahve a question about vacation and skids.

I thought my right breast was leaking but it is not and if it were I am still with in my warranty so i could have it replaced for free!! He told me to keep an eye on it and we will make sure that if there is a problem it will be taken care of! Smile

Second I know this is far out but we are planing on going to disney in oct 2012 and of course that is during school and on bm's time.
