I really don't post much about SSstb19.  He lives with us full time. DH has had custody since he was under 1 yr old. BM isn't involved at all (currently in jail and went on to have 7 other kids, custody of none). We believe that BM's teenage partying (17 when she had him) along with her own mental issues, is the cause of SS's psychiatric issues. Autism (mid rang functioning), ADHD, Major Anxiety Disorder are the big ones. 

Back to the real world

We got back in town Saturday after the most AMAZING trip! We posted about 1,000 pictures. Had the best time.

I AM SOOOO PROUD OF DH! He did not wallow in the fact that SS was not there. He did not even mention it but one or 2 times and the comments were "SS is really going to regret not seeing this one day". He/ We/ The other 3 had a blast!  Totally lived in the moment, laughed, loved, and experienced everything we could. 

Final Cruise Saga Update

Welp, Ss14 did not get on the plane to meet us in Florida. I know, I know... DH and I were as shocked as you are right now!

Mr. Lawyer talked to the GAL yesterday and confirmed that if SS didn't get the plane he was re-writting his recommendation and would testify for us the a flip in custody is imperative.

Mr. Lawyer is filing all the paperwork Monday while we are on the cruise. Not sure how I feel about it all... but I can deal with those feelings later. 

The Spring Break Saga

Y'all get the play by play for the next few days. It really sucks that no one in my life really understands what we are going through. I have several divorced friends but they are all "normal". There isn't constant fighting or withholding of children, no drama every single day it seems... I really am so grateful for this site and being able to come here, vent, cry, complain without too much judgement. 

Doctors Notes from EDS appointment

The notes from SS14's "EDS Diagnosis" were up on the patient portal. Sure enough so much of the things were lies.

- SS's 1/2 brother having EDS and Juvenile Arthritis (He does not have either of those, his SM and Dad are pissed right now, I sent them a screenshot of what was written)

- SS is SOOO tired and lethargic yet he goes to bed 8 pm (LIE. Just going to call that for BS. When he was still text DH it would be at 11 pm his time and whenever he is with us, he won’t go to bed until after 2 am)

BM did it... she got the diagnosis

DH was on the phone. He tried to call out her lies on family history. Her lying about SS having 2 dislocations. Her coaching SS the whole time! Doctor would say "how does that feel?" Before SS could even answer "That's how you say it hurts, right?" SS didn't even answer... we assume he just nodded. It was surreal listening to the whole thing. I am still shaking.

Doctor Appointment for SS14

BM has always claimed SS14 has all of these illnesses. She doctor shops until she can make her story plausible enough to get a diagnosis. BM has claimed for a couple years now that SS has EDS (Elhors- Danlos Syndrome). This is a pretty debilitating disease. BM is just sure he has it. She claimed he was tested as a baby and DH forgot. Although he has never had a dislocation, doesn't have bruising issues, doesn't have "pale translucent skin", doesn't have joint pain, etc. Last summer DH and I took him to a major children's hospital's genetics clinic.

Update: The GAL's Order

We talked to our lawyer last night. There are so many things in mid motion right now it is making my head spin. 

The GAL has emailed recomendations to the judge and is working with both attorney's to finish his offical order for the judge to sign. We asked for a few provisions to be added, he said those shouldn't be an issue.
