I am livid and still shaking with fury. Even after my 3-Mike run. I just want to punch a punching bag but instead I read and type this. I knew trouble was brewing - you see it's been so quiet this month, very little to no drama, so I figured, correctly so, something ugly would happen. Which of course it did. SD10 has a bday party to attend, wanted something different, so she asked her sister SD 17 to apply makeup. She applied heavy eyeliner, blue eye shadow, mascara, lipstick blush, the works.

Almost-18 Anxiety

I am having anxiety about the future of SD17 turning 18 in April. She graduates a month later, and then summer will begin. I have heard nothing of her plans, yet SO states that "things will change". I want to know HOW. He states that she will be required to pay rent, and pay her own cell phone and pay her own car insurance. She currently has no license and of course no job. Plus, January 1st, she started the year getting caught shoplifting and is now banned from JC Penny's for a year.

I am going through the tunnel of disengagement, and am seeing the light at the end! Its awesome. I still have much to go through, the future of when SD turns 18 and graduates HS is uncertain, and many things are in flux.

One thing that continues to rear its ugly head is House Rules: Chapter 1 - coloring of hair.

$250 fine and back in the stores - Winona update

SD17, caught stealing MAKEUP SPONGES from JcPenny and banned from the chain for 1 year. The fine is $250, to be split between the two parents. So, after SD17 watches her gma a few times, she gets about $60, does she follow her fathers instructions and give up the money to help pay the fine?

She has no remorse. She tells her father, that she "didn't do anything". Right. she never does anything. Then tells her mother that she "did it for adrenalin." . Never mind that she was caught on security camera taking the make up and it somehow ended up in her purse. They couldn't quite nail her completely because she said she was "going to pay for it", had money in her wallet and hadn't yet left the store. So now, what about the repercussions? Its been 12 days (lets not forget this happened NEW YEARS DAY, after she and I had had a little "thing".)

Things cant get worse? And then they do....

So, since I've been reading the posts on this site, I've been feeling a lot of different things - some feelings of relief, some new flashes of light bulbs going off and a general sense of unease about the future with SD17. And possibly SD10.

So far, within the past year or so I have discovered that SD17 is mean, spiteful, angry, jealous. And that's not all folks. She's a pathological liar. I've known this for a long time, but BM has always had her head up her #$$ and seems surprised at recent events. "not my BABY GIRL!!!!" Yeah right.
