Anyone ever hear of "play misty for me"? Yes this is the one..

Great music, eclectic, and wonderful local musicians as well.

If anyone streams to their desktop and needs something new, paste the link and turn up the volume.

Wow, you win everything! Is it luck or hard work?

And I would love to see Muse. They are amazing musicians!

You win more contests than anyone I have ever heard of. Is your radio on 24/7? Enjoy Muse – they are pretty damn good live

I'm currently listening to Anderson .Paak

It kind of blew my mind when I first saw him perform on NPR's Tiny Desk.

While his music isn't my normal everyday genre, stuff like his holds a place in my heart growing up around a lot of R&B, funk, and jazz.

Right now I have a CD that DH burned for me. Everything from Charlie Daniels to Metallica.

And OP, Misty is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Watched it with my dad the last time I was back home.

after led zeppelin - robert and jimmy kept on singing under the name of no quarter... much better then their prior music..

I do not have a specific band I listen to,

depends on my mood I will listen to anything... Mumford is awesome, nataniel rateliff is similiar music..

I didn't like Mumford and Sons when they first came out, but now their music has grown on me - I'd love to see them in concert. Love S.O.B. too!

Acratopotes's picture

first Mumford song I simply fell in love... I normally pirate music ,,, but their CD I bought..

I actually love any music with music instruments and good voices.... these back track bands does not do it for me...
NKOB, back street boys... that kind of bands, i have no clue what's the new names lol...

for some reason lately i've been listening to 90's rock, classic rock, or metal/hairband stuff at work. but i generally keep it country in the car!

steve earl - copperhead road....

I like it sort of, it grows on a person lol.....

None of my taste in music resonates here Blum 3 I was the quinticential hard house, commercial music party animal. Even in my 40's it can get me shaking my thing.

momjeans's picture

Ooooh yes. Though, I'm more into deep house, trip hop, downtempo. I listen to a lot of Portishead, Thievery Corporation, Nightmares on Wax, Bjork...

Not to say I don't love some good old Corrosion of Conformity, Black Sabbath, Queens Of The Stone Age, etc while I'm in the car alone.

have you seen "the saint" with val kilmer? love that movie!!!! but, getting to my point - 6 underground is on it. as is duran duran's "out of my mind". great soundtrack to the movie.

Aniki-Moderator's picture

The Saint!!! OMG, I love that movie!! I saw it 47 times in the theater. I was recovering from major surgery and could not drive or use my arms a lot. My Dad would drop me off at the theater and I'd watch it 2-3 times.

Tuff Noogies's picture

wow i totally did a double-take on how you worded that. Wink

THIS! This stuff is basically the reason why I love going to my dentist. I'm pretty sure this is their preferred Muzak station.
