another BM episode

DH has FINALLY hired a lawyer. After 2 years of telling him that BM is not going to pay the debt that she agreed on in the divorce decree, she is not going to listen to reason because she isn't a reasonable person, and she thinks that she's above working, he's finally had enough. I was starting to think the day would never come. She honestly thinks that nobody can do anything to her about all the debt she owes & that it's all DH's fault she's got completely wrecked credit. Good luck with that princess. I hope he also follows through with his threat to call DFS on her.

So neither DH nor I work a typical work week. Because of this, DH typically gets SK's whenever we both have a few days off together, believing we should all be together as a family (lucky me). We get away with this because BM will do absolutely anything to pass off her kids. So I felt my jaw clench today while DH & I sat down for dinner & to talk about what we had going on this week.
Me "I only have to go to the office for a few hours, will you have BS with you or do I need to leave him with his babysitter?"

I thought it would be fun to list some crazy things BM has done...
1-right before DH & I met she took his truck (she was the primary loan holder & they'd only separated at that point). After we'd dated for a month she decided she couldn't make the truck payments so she gave it back & took her car back. She left a used pregnancy test in the truck (gross) & told DH she'd thought that maybe she was pregnant with his child (test was negative). So she'd moved her boyfriend she'd been sleeping with in the day after DH moved out...

So recently DH & I planned a trip to Vegas together for later this month. Because we're going to be gone for a week I insisted that we bring BS1 with us because I've never been away from him for more than a night & after a day or 2 I'd just miss him too much. Well, MIL caught wind that we were taking our son but leaving SK's with BM & she threw a fit. She's always on me for not taking a more active role & having SK's more. Whatever. We planned this trip as a way to relax & bringing SK's would not be relaxing at all.

ugh! I survived the SK visit but there's always another lurking around the corner

So DH & I got through the 'Disney Dad' phase & now that we don't just drive through McDonald's every mealtime, it's finally showing DH that his kids are rude. SS4 is still a year away from kindergarten so there's only so much that can be reasonably expected from him, but every meal is a battle. He actually gags on vegetables. If it's not junk, every bite is a fight. Everything with him is a fight, I think he pees his pants around us just out of spite that we have rules at our house. SD7 is always demanding presents from us, whenever I correct her, she sulks.
