Munchausen Monologues

Simpleton21's picture

Sorry to be a bit of a blog hog today but I had to share a new update to this crap show.

Apparently DH told SD that when she comes over this weekend she would just be resting and not doing anything because of her injury and SD responded, "why did she say I was doing bad? I'm confused I'm walking really well now.  And my mom is being a tad dramatic about this injury the whole time anyways".

Shocker

BM is having a flip out about DH "not putting SD first" because SD had a staph outbreak and DH made her not want to come over (b/c we treat her like she is contagious...b/c she is), then the concussion, now it is his weekend and he wants to spend time with his friends (the only time he gets off is the weekends we have SD)." According to BM DH is crushing their kid and he should put her first.  Also BM is pissed she has to rearrange her free time that she gets every other weekend, lol!  SD is still not cleared to return to school on Monday and she can't be left alone with this concussion.  A

Quick Update

DH got SD Friday night as mentioned in my previous post.  I kid you not she shows up with a damn walker and ear plugs (which she forgot at my house).  Then DH tells me that SD can't take tests at school or anything for a month!  WTH!?!? I guess this concussion is way worse than I thought *dash1* I honestly cannot believe that DH really believes that SD has a concussion this severe.  I know I'm not a doctor but her symptoms - stuttering and can't walk - both looked very exaggerated and well fake!

Making up time...

Well DH is making up time with SD tonight.  Yippeee! Sad I've really enjoyed the break from her.  According to him SD is really messed up with this concussion.  Stuttering and can't walk on her own.  Why insist on coming over then?  Why not wait until she feels better?  If she can't walk and talk it won't be much of a quality visit.

It took longer than I expected

It took longer than I expected for SD to get an indoor soccer injury but it has happened.  DH informed me that BM called and told him she is taking SD to the hospital for a possible concussion.  Apparently last night at soccer she hurt her knee and no one saw it but SD says she hit her head too and was seeing lights when they pulled her out of practice and this morning she was groggy.  And yes for those of you that read my previous blog, of course BM took her to practice with staph/MRSA, BM is MOTY and all

SD has Staph/MRSA Again

Simpleton21's picture

It was supposed to be our weekend to have SD but SD has her staph/MRSA infection AGAIN.  BM told us that SD didn't want to come to our house because we "treat her like a leper".  I guess telling SD that since she is SICK with a serious CONTAGIOUS INFECTION to stay away from our YDS is treating SD like a leper.  Whatever!  I do not care if it hurt her fee fees.  I was glad she didn't come over.  Nice peaceful weekend for me.

Oh and we got a new dog Smile

And it begins...

The anxiety of knowing it is our weekend to have SD.  Ugh!  At least we will be getting her later than usual because she has her indoor soccer game tonight and BM is the coach so she at least takes her to the game (which is 45 minutes away).  I was supposed to provide an update on SD and her indoor soccer but I haven't really heard much about it.  DH said that SD told him at first she hated it but then she liked it (that was after night 1).  I guess maybe we will hear more tonight?!?!

Starting to notice a pattern....

It seems like all of SD's "bestfriends" are BM's friend's kids.  I know it is normal to hang out with other kids b/c your parents are friends with theirs.  I made friends that way as a child and that is kind of why this thought just hit me the today.  SD was talking to DH and I was half a$$ed listening because I don't really enjoy anything she ever talks about.  I was hoping to hear how her soccer practice went but unfortunately that isn't what she was blabbing about.  Anyways, she came out to show DH some text she had received from BM and sat there and explained that the text was from anot

Another new sport...

Simpleton21's picture

Well go figure BM found another new sport to enroll SD in that she likely won't excel at.  BM has now registered SD in indoor soccer and claims the only indoor soccer she could enroll SD in is in a town 45 minutes away from ours....but you know it isn't BM's fault we moved so she doesn't care if it is an inconvenience...it is in "SD's best interest" as usual.  Oh and of course BM is going to help coaching even though BM herself has never played soccer and neither has SD.  From what I understand indoor soccer includes a lot of running.  I'm sure this will definitely cause SD's "sports induce

Results are in...

SD is not ADHD.  BM called DH yesterday to discuss the results of her super expensive ($2k) special testing.  I'm sure that BM and SD are disappointed that they can't blame SD's poor performance in school on ADHD or learning disabilities.  BM kept talking about how much she spent on this testing.  I'm sure she is going to try to get us to pay for some of it.  However, she sent DH an e-mail that she had sent this doctor that did the testing stating that she would pay anything not covered by ins.  She is the one that chose to send her to this "special" dr that her insurance didn't cover and o
