I am new to this site but would love to hear other's views and advice on how to cope with being a stepmother. My husband's children have lived with us for the past 5 years, nothing has gotten better or changed much other than me dreading to go home when I see my SD is home. Her father and I have a 3 year old son and I am 7 months pregnant. SSd is 18 and much to my disappointment has decided to attend college nearby. We live in a small town and she has effectively spread poison about me and her father to everyone she has come in contact with.
