The Skid finally called ..... with good news.

Wow, he got a 95 on the "fourth block final". 93 on the first block. 93 on the second block. 90 on the third block.

Getting better and finding his own professional motivation.

Looks like just maybe his mom and I got him to viable adulthood. And the confirmation comes only a week to the day after his 19th b-day.

Go kid go.

Cross your fingers that he keeps it up.

Being pragmatic when dealing with blended family drama is the way to go. Be firm, assertive, and locked in step with the CO and most important of all be PRAGMATIC!

When the opposition gets stupid, stomp on them to get them back in line - Pragmatic.

When it is not unreasonable to give an inch for the best interests of the SKid and your family then do it - Pragmatic

When the Skid needs parenting and the opposition or your own SO won't do it step up and do it. - Pragmatic.

Any update on when we will have the ability to track community wide recent activity and our own recent posts?

I wanna be able to participate more but do not have the time to read through hundreds of threads to keep up.

Are there plans to add those capabilities back to S-Talk?

Today is the 17th anniversary of an incredible life with my bride.

I have to say I am a very lucky man.

And as a bonus her culinary skills are much improved from the first year of regular meals consisting of frozen hamburgers and Craft Mac and Cheese. We are not talking Deluxe. We are talking the powdered cheese packet.

She was an 18yo incredible and driven young woman with a 1yo kid when we married. Now she is a phenomenal beauty and incredibly accomplished as a student, a professional, a mother, my partner and is truly my muse.

I love you my dear.
