Child Support Questions??

Pecanflower's picture

So, If I have had it up to my eyebrows, and would like to seriously suggest to DH that he get the ball rolling and get some sort of Child Support from BM (I mean, she does get disability, so she does have some sort of income...and if she can afford to send it to a Nigerian Soldier...she can afford to help her kid out), does he need to file in the state of the divorce? Or can he start filing motions where we are now?

This is the problem of living is different states from the BM...although, I honestly wouldn't have it any other way...Cos she is nuts.

Stressed to the Nth Degree and No end in Sight.

I am in a really bad place. So I am just going to vent for a moment.

Work is extremely stressful for me right now. I am pulled in so many directions at work. There are 11 sales people who plop their production in my lap. Plus, I am the sports log coordinator. I have over 180 barter spots to get in every Friday and Monday. And I have a DIVA talent who whines about every little thing he can find to whine about.

Being the only "Typical" one in a Non-Typical household and Villified for it.

I tend to think of myself as a very understanding and giving person. When I married DH, I took on not only him and all his quirky autistic traits; but also his son, who also on the high functioning autism spectrum.

Then my husband; who was already disabled because of his bi-polar disorder/traumatic brain injury and autism is further diagnosed with MS.

BM is homeless once again

So, DH heard from BM once again. She is staying in a "Mission." Her sister kicked her out. And I guess she is now working with a financial helper to get her bills paid off properly. This person actually handles her funds; and pays what she owes; and allows her to have anything that is left.

So...No birthday acknowledgement for SS14 when he turns 15 is expected from her. She said she didn't even think she would be able to send a card.

Cleaning Lessons Part Deaux

FIVE Times. Count them...1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Times SS14 was pulled into the Bathroom to clean it. DH did it four times. Then, I got up and had to use the facilities.

"Ummm, is the toilet NOT part of the bathroom anymore?"

I thought DH was going to lose it.

SS14 is grounded.

He was not a happy camper. But I bet Saturday, when it comes time to clean the bathroom, he will do it properly. Or he knows, there will be NO video games for the weekend (which, as he informs us, ruins his life).

The Other Side of the Step Coin (StepDaughters And Grand Children and Can I Just Stay HOME)

I usually post about my SS14 who lives with me full time.
Well, DH also has three daughters. One is a independant woman who is out on her own and is doing very well. She has a cursory relationship with her father; because of PAS from her mother; yadda yadda yadda. But they are trying to develop an adult relationship. I consider it healthy and working for them.

Scarring SS14 for Life.

DH has MS. So when things work well enough for sexy time to happen, we take advantage of that time. Usually, it's in the morning. And Usually SS14 is awake. Oh well. LOL

Saturday morning, DH left the bedroom straight into the accusing face of SS14.

"I am sure I don't EVEN have to ask...But just what were you guys doing in there?"
"Well, if you don't have to ask, then you know. Do you want details?"
"Gross! NO!"
"Then don't ask."

Snicker Snicker Snort

There are just some times when I want to do the "I told you so" dance.

DH had to text BM to get her mailing address. SS14 wants to send her a Valentine's Day card.
She has moved in with another roommate because things with her "soldier" boyfriend weren't as they seemed. She is the one who texted the quotation marks.

Really? Ya don't say? Catch up here: https://www.steptalk.org/node/233812

Heart Breaking Sight

I have mentioned once or twice that my SS14 is a little Drama King and a hypochondriac. He gets it from his mother. She has has every illness in the book and LOVES to use her autistic son to get attention, even tho she is not a part of his life.
