Weekend with SD...

Ok, so DH arranged to just have SD this weekend. I like it much better when it is just one of the kids, rather than the two of them. The two together are simply unbearable.

I'm curious though...

BM didn't pitch a fit because it's Mother's Day weekend. She didn't even ask about an early drop-off on Sunday, nothing. :?

Anywho, I have ZERO desire to spend MY Mother's Day with SD. Z-E-R-O.

We shall see.

Disengaged...

Since I have disengaged from being involved in decisions or situations regarding the SKIDS, my life has become easier. It's easier for me to accept that, whether I like it or not, the situation is as my DH wants it to be. I reason that if he wanted it to be otherwise, he would do something about it.

Anyway, the last conversation that I had with my DH is that I am tired of him throwing it in my face that I can see my BS16 any time I want. Or that I don't understand what he's going through because I have a good relationship with my son's father.

for being there while I vent.

This site makes having the skids much easier for me. When something happens, I know that I can pop on here, get it off my chest, and then get back out there like nothing happened at all. It has made it so that I don't always feel like bursting from keeping my mouth shut to my DH about his kids.

SD back to BM's...

and all will go back to normal. Neither of them will be back until April.

I'm really not looking forward to their return. That visit will be the both of them AND it will be an extended stay because of Spring Break.

Anyone willing to let me come stay at their house? I have a feeling that I am going to need a place to escape to.

Anyway, on a more positive note - and one that is 100% all about me:

The season finale for my all-time ever favorite show is on tonight. Can I get a "HELL YEAH" for some ZOMBIES?!?!

WTF else is new? BM is such a POS.

We went up to the grocery store to grab a few items. At the self-check out, I am weighing and punching in the code for the bananas, SD tells me that her moms looks for the cheapest price for any sort of produce - and uses that for everything.

I said, "You mean to tell me that if she were buying these bananas, she would put in a cheaper code so that she wouldn't have to pay the proper price for them?"

SD says, "Well, yeah!" (and she's proud!)

I said, "Um, but that's stealing."

SD, "NO IT'S NOT!"

SD was real shocked when I walked into the house this afternoon. I honestly think she was hoping that she wouldn't see me. I have to say, the feeling was mutual. BUT... well... neither of us get that luxury.

Well, a couple of our neighbors ordered Girl Scout Cookies from her and today she had to go make the deliveries. DH asked me if I wanted to walk with them. I decided, you know what? Yeah, I do want to take that walk. SD10 was soooo disappointed.
