SD20 got into an accident

SD20 got into an accident! Her FRIEND was driving she says. Hood is smashed and front end damage when they hit a guardrail! SIGH. Good thing the hoopty still runs so she can leave tomorrow! Another friend is picking them up and driving the car here. Why can't SHE just drive it back if it is running fine??? Why make someone else drive over an hour?? Another night of being out running around! I KNEW this would happen. She's not on OUR insurance! GOOD.

 

SD’s visit has been delightful

SD20's visit so far has been GREAT! She hasn't been around AT ALL. She leaves on Monday (YES!) and I've hardly had to see her!

She stays up until 4am, sleeps until 1pm, leaves at 3pm and is gone until 1 or 2 in the morning!! She's been out every night with her trashy friend, they shopping all over the state, meeting up with men and partying. NOT spending any time at home with dad.

Ugh. SD20 will be visiting in a few weeks and I am NOT loooking forward to it! Please please PRAY for me that she doesn't stay too long!! I DO NOT want to see her. I know it's just going to be DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA. 
 

"I have to help pay bills living there!

"My mom is terrible!" 

NO moving in here! DH knows I WONT LIVE WITH HER! What if her mom doesn't want her and she has nowhere to stay?? I HATE this. I don't care if she is working or going to college. I DON'T want her in my house. 
 

Sick of the “I love you”s

Another thing I HATE is the "I love you"s from SD20 to DH. Because EATS it up! SD20 would never do anything for anyone (INCLUDING HIM) that required WORK or giving something. It's all just WORDS. And he eats it up!! Me on the other hand, and small thing I do wrong he gets SO MAD and it turns into this big thing!!! But she is just the BEST because she says "I love you" every so often!! I'm soooo sick of being held to a higher standard! It's like I do SO much for you but she gets all the credit!!

I HATE the holidays

Why? Because SD20 visits COVID and all! NOT ONLY has she maxed out her credit card with over $2,000 in charges but now I find out she is the victim of "identity theft" on an Amazon store card she opened with over $3,000 on THAT one! OMFG

At least she can't come until AFTER Christmas because her minimum wage job won't let her take the time off before. Hahahaha. She better not bring up her money problems to DH. NOT our problem! I hope they don't let her take too much time off!! I can only take 1-2 weeks of her!
 

 

SD 20 maxed out her credit card

and my husband better not pay it off for her. Her credit limit is $2,250.00. I feel that is a LOT for a 20 year old who makes minimum wage working and is working at a part-time job. I think we should JUST STAY OUT OF IT! NOT our problem. I knew this would happen. She lives above her means buying only the best clothes and shoes. I am SO sick of her dumb irresponsible ways.

Hi this is my first post. Thank you for this site! I am happy to have finally found people who I can relate to!

My stepdaughter is 20. She is lazy, sneaky and shallow. The only thing she cares about is shopping for herself and taking pictures of herself to post on social media. She has my poor husband completely fooled. He thinks that she is WONDERFUL!! He never sees her true colors. Since high school, she has accomplished nothing. She will brag herself up and tell people anything they want to make them like her.
