Any advice for custody hearing

The lawyer has been hired and we go to court in 2 days. DH has 2 of BM family members that will be speaking on his behalf stating what a train wreck that BM is and how SS is neglected while living with her. I am also scheduled to speak however I don't know what I am going to be able to add. I don't know what goes on at her house. Any advice on what i can look forward to adn what may be asked of me? BM doesn't have an attorney 

 

Hire the lawyer or not update

I told DH this morning that if he planned on hiring the lawyer he had to make his decision sooner rather than later. We actually hadn't talked it about it at all since the paperwork with the new court date was received on monday. I was told the he didn't think so becasue he didn't see how she could help him (again had he listened to her advice at mediation she may have ). I am guessing that DH and BM will do the same thing that they did a year ago when DH filed in our county go to mediation and then back out when the court date comes up.

Last week after the fiasco that was DH & BM custody hearing we wind up coming home with SS9 for what seems to be the REST of the summer, or at least until schools starts again where he lives,this was supposedly decided by the mediator at the custody hearing. Not sure i buy that becasue BM and DH apparently were texting whe we were driving to court so they may have worked this out on their own and DH doesn't dare tell me the truth. I can deal with the weekend visits becasue i know they will eventually end but now he is here for approx 8 weeks which is 8 more than I am ready for.
