SD16's shocking sense of entitlement

Since COVID shut everything down, my SDs have come and gone between DH's, BM's, and my house pretty much as they've pleased. Of course they were with DH this past weekend because of Father's Day. I had my own stuff to do, but did go over Saturday evening for dinner and then they all came here Sunday afternoon and we spent some time in the pool. It was a pleasant weekend, or so I thought. 

Do your teenagers do this? **trigger warning: suicide**

DaisyMazy's blog reminded me of this but I didn't want to hijack her comments...

I'm curious how many of us have teenage stepkids (or kids) who use threats of suicide as a tool of manipulation? I'm not talking about kids who are depressed, suicidal, or have made actual attempts at suicide, because that is tragic and a completely different situation from what I'm experiencing.

I haven't posted a blog in forever, but I've been reading a lot of yours lately and steplife's got me down, so I need some support. I asked Dawn to delete all my past blogs because I'm paranoid about BM or my SDs identifying me and making things harder than they already are. Anyway, my SDs are 15 and 13 and DH has 50/50 custody of them. We've been married for 9 years and have a daughter together who is 5.
